One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, in China so far. I frequent many 5 star hotels in China and it’s always hit and miss. This one was great though. The staff were friendly, the room was huge and well designed, and the design was modern. Also it was all clean, no smells. So happy with it!

Stayed in the hotel in September 2025 for four nights. Room was modern and had an open concept design. Hot water and WiFi worked well, and cleaning was done very well. Buffet had good spread of mainly Shanxi local delicacies. I must especially praise the restaurant service staff, especially 杨杨, for being so accommodating, friendly, and personable. On my first day with breakfast, 杨杨, personally explained the different food options to me and made sure all of my needs were cared for. She was exceptionally bubbly and approachable, and was not only the highlight of the hotel, but gave me one of the best services of any accommodation across the world. Regarding location, the hotel was located around 10-15 minutes by taxi from the main high-speed rail station. The only critique I would note is that the air-conditioning in the room was somewhat weak. Overall, the hotel offered good value for money and excellent service, and I am happy to stay again.

Zunächst einmal die Umgebung, die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, die Straße ist bequem, besonders nahe dem Schmuckhaus zu fahren, fünf Minuten, die gesamte Dekoration der alten Atmosphäre, die öffentliche Region ist sauber und sauber, die 40-Etagen-Halle ist ausreichend Licht, die große Landfenster, ruhig und unkompliziert, das Gefühl der Atmosphäre ist besonders komfortabel. Die Zimmer sind komplett und neu, das Bett ist weich und hart, schlafen die ganze Nacht besonders sicher, die Wäsche ist trocken, das Warmwasser ist stabil, die Qualität der Badegegenstände ist online, Klimaanlage, Licht und Fenster sind sehr bequem, das gesamte Zimmer ist unverfärbt und es gibt keinen Staub in den Ecken. Das Gesamtkostenverhältnis ist sehr hoch, ob es sich um Kurzstreckentouren oder Kurzstreckenreisen handelt, das nächste Mal in Taipei wird es auch für dieses Haus wählen und es wird stark für alle empfohlen!

Could not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

This is a luxurious hotel. The rooms don’t look or feel like a hotel room. They feel like home away from home. The soundproofing is great and it is always a quiet yet the hotel room has a door separating the room from the hallway leading to the front door. That way you are insulated from any noise from outside, which is often a problem at other hotels. The air-conditioning system is very quiet and works perfectly. We slept well there. I would stay at this hotel for breakfast alone. As you walk by the buffet, it just keeps going. It took me more than a minute to walk from one end of the buffet to the other. The variety of dishes is staggering. I have never seen anything like this in my life. The quality of the dishes is superb as well. I will remember their steamed dumplings for a long time… Many of the other dishes were exotic and very interesting. It was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip. And unforgettable experience.

Insgesamt ist das wirklich wertvolle! Die Rezeption ist wirklich sehr enthusiastisch, das nächste Mal wird ich sicher wieder leben!

Dies ist ein sehr preisgünstiges Hotel. Wir haben es aufgrund der Bewertungen auf Ctrip ausgewählt. Beim Einchecken bemerkte das Personal an der Rezeption, dass wir älter waren, und bot uns Frühstück für den nächsten Tag an, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Das Zimmer war außerdem sehr groß und sauber. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von Liuxiang, und die umliegende Geschäftswelt ist sehr gut entwickelt. Zum Shanxi Merchants Museum (ehemals Admiral's Mansion) sind es nur fünf Gehminuten. Die U-Bahn-Station ist nur 600 Meter vom Hotel entfernt, und die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr bequem. Es gibt viele leckere Gerichte in der Umgebung. Wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Taiyuan komme, werde ich auf jeden Fall das Royal Garden Jinyue Hotel wählen.

Nice hotel, which was spotlessly clean, with good facilities.Good choice for breakfast. In general, the staff were helpful and efficient. The Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the restaurants and bars.

This stay was absolutely incredible and completely exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, a massive thank you to the hotel for being so welcoming to my two fur babies (my dog babies)! 🐶🐶 Finding a place that not only allows pets but treats them with such kindness and respect is rare. The staff went above and beyond to make sure both my pups and I felt comfortable and at home. They are truly amazing employees—so warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. They are a credit to this hotel! The room itself was fantastic. We had an awesome view from the window overlooking the city scenery, which was just beautiful to wake up to. It added such a special touch to our trip. But the location? UNBEATABLE. You simply cannot beat it. · Transport: The subway station is literally right in front of the main door of the hotel. You are connected to the entire city instantly. · Tourist Spots: All the great tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. We barely needed transport because everything was so accessible! If you are visiting Taiyuan, whether for business, leisure, or especially if you are traveling with pets, stop looking and book this hotel. It is very, very highly recommended.
