Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Kimpton Margot war erstaunlich! Es war eine tolle Lage-Mitte von zwei Bahnhöfen, zu Fuß von den Einkaufszentren entfernt, und es ist nahe einem Kaufgeschäft. Der Service war auch ausgezeichnet. Sie waren hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Ich würde gern dort bleiben, wenn wir nach Sydney zurückgehen.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Das Hotel hat eine großartige Lage, mit der U-Bahn und dem Geschäftsviertel im Erdgeschoss. Es liegt ganz in der Nähe von Touristenattraktionen und ist sehr praktisch für Reisen. Der Nachteil besteht darin, dass die Toilettenschüssel schmutzig aussieht und schwarze Flecken aufweist. Der Föhn war alt und abgenutzt. Es fällt ab, wenn Sie es einstecken, Sie müssen es mit der Hand festhalten, um es auszublasen! Es sah aus, als wären die Teebeutel schon lange nicht mehr gewechselt worden und der zerrissene Kaffee war noch in der Schachtel. Ich war sehr unzufrieden!

The hotel is easily accessible from the train station (as it is a slight downhill). The staff, from being met with a wide smile by the concierge to the check-in staff, are friendly, professional and just a joy to interact with. The rooms are well appointed, bathrooms absolutely spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is good, but very few Asian options available. It should be noted that Google maps is not truthful about the fact this part of Sydney is ”mostly flat”... so walking shoes are a MUST as the hotel is so very close to a number of wonderful places to see, explore and enjoy a meal.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was okay, though the menu never changed. Nice :) The room was spacious, with a short walk to Coles and the train station. Skipping housekeeping earned us $10 F&B credits for 2 cups of coffee. The balcony was handy for drying clothes. The hotel would be perfect if it had a washer for laundry. We initially planned to cook in the kitchen, but the nearby food was too delicious to skip, so we ended up not cooking. No water was provided, and toothbrushes were available upon request. Bathtub was great. 2 rollaway beds provided with 2 pillows on each bed.

Die Lage ist gut. Biegen Sie fünf Minuten lang links ab und Sie erreichen den Hyde Park, der auch die U-Bahn-Station ist. Biegen Sie rechts ab und erreichen Sie Darling Harbour. Vorne, hinten und links gibt es Einkaufszentren. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich groß, das 1,35-Bett ist bequem und das Badezimmer ist auch groß. Die Nachteile sind, dass im Duschraum Wasser verschüttet wird und niemand ans Telefon geht, als ich nach einem Papierhandtuch frage. Ich ging zur Rezeption, um danach zu fragen, und es dauerte lange, bis es geliefert wurde. Das Frühstück hat wenige Sorten.

Great location but a bit pricey for the hotel. Not quite certain it qualifies to be a five star hotel as I have stayed in many hotels across Asia and Middle East. Breakfast buffet was not up-to scratch to my standards. Omelette order is taken privately by the waiter rather than seeing your omelette jn action. Pastry variety was okay. There was no official coffee station as order is taken on arrival. Good this was children under 12 are free.

Das ist das teuerste Zimmer, das ich in diesen Jahren gebucht habe... Das Zimmer wurde renoviert und ist moderner ~ Die Aussicht ist wirklich gut, aber das Gebäude in der Mitte ist so nervig! Es gibt überall im Hotel Hinweise auf Swift, haha Es geht einen Hügel hinauf zum Hotel. Gegenüber dem Hotel gibt es unzählige Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider waren wir nur einen Tag dort und ich musste umziehen Vielen Dank an das Concierge-Mädchen, das mir Anweisungen gegeben hat, wie ich bequemer zum Konzert komme~ Das Zimmer verfügt sogar über eine Typ-C-Steckdose, was sehr modern ist. Obwohl das Badezimmer insgesamt dem beliebtesten leichten Luxusstil in China entspricht, ist es relativ klein. Die Minibar ist sehr clever und schön~ Beim Frühstück gibt es eine lange Schlange! Tatsächlich war es drinnen nicht voll, also mussten wir warten, bis uns jemand einen Tisch zeigte. . . Die Auswahl an Speisen ist in Ordnung und es gibt auch Dampfbrötchen, haha!

My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of the city, just a 3-5 minute walk from the Town Hall station. The rooms are equipped with a smart home system, allowing guests to easily control the lighting, curtains, and other features using a provided tablet. Unfortunately, despite requesting and booking a king-bedded room, the hotel assigned us a twin-bedded room for our 6-night stay. This was an unexpected inconvenience, as the room configuration did not align with our original booking.

Wir blieben 4 Nächte im Crowne Plaza vor einer Kreuzfahrt. Das Hotel war in einer sehr günstigen Lage, ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Darling Harbour, wenige Minuten zu den Hauptstraßen der Stadt, ca. 15 bis Kreisquay und Minuten von der Stadt China. Das Hotelzimmer war sauber, geräumig und hell. Wir essen in dem Hotel einmal, anderes als Frühstück. Das Essen war gut im Gleichgewicht mit den Restaurants in Darling Harbour, aber sagen, dass ich nicht sagen kann, dass ich ein ausgezeichnetes Essen hatte und zu jedem von ihnen zurückgehen würde. Das Frühstück bestand aus einem kontinentalen und einem Menü für Ihre traditionellen heißen Mahlzeiten. Ich kann nicht zu Einrichtungen kommentieren, wie wir sie nie verwendet haben.
