Booked a one bedroom ocean spa apartment for 6 nights in Mid Oct 2024. Stayed on 38 floor. First impression when entering that apartment was ”great view”. Apartment is spacious and very clean, kitchen facility has stocked with many pot & pan and utensils, can make regular meals with no issue. Also has washer & dryer too. There is a jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom that is a bonus! We brought food from Coles supermarket (walking distance from Q1) and made breakfast and dinner. To get to Q1 resort from Gold Coast airtport, We brought a public transport card ”GO” from shop in airport arrival hall, took the airport bus #777 from airport (30 minutes ride) to Broadbeach, transfer to the local tram, get off at Surfers Paradise stop. Q1 resort is right across the street. The whole ride is last than 45 minutes, cost only 50 cents AUD., great deal!! BTW, all bus & tram ride within Gold Coast area is 50 cents. So get a GO card. Just make sure you tap on and off with each ride.

The location is super convenient, next to tram station. The room is spacious and clean, full set of amenities. The breakfast is average, less hot dishes and variety of salad. Overall is excellent.

I have stayed at Novotel Surfers Paradise numerous times. I love the location most of all - Located directly above the Oasis Shopping Centre and less than 200m to the beach. My room today had amazing sea views. Car Parking is also really good as Novotel shares the shopping centres car park, I usally hate paying for parking how ever I feel its a fair price at $22 per day, unlimited entries in and out and its valid until midnight on the day you depart. The room is clean and a good size, the breakfast is one of the best hotel bueffet breakfasts I have had, I have traveled to many countries around the world - and Novotel's breakfast get my #1 vote. My only issue I have with Novotel Surfers Paradise is the time to check in - it can be absolutely terrible the wait times are often unacceptable, I made a comment in the lift just this morning about this, all the other guests agreed - its just too slow. This seems to be an ongoing problem as I have enountered it before - so i dont know what the problem is but I feel I'm not the only one that has this issue. Overall I still love Novotel Surfers Paradise, Trip.Com always seem to have the best price around by far making it a very good option for Surfer Paradise.

It's getting incredibly expensive to stay in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Budget options are severely limited, and inevitably you will have to make sacrifices. But if you're looking for decent accomodation that won't break the bank, this property has a lot going for it. It's definitely an older type building, and doesn't attempt to compete with the glittering modern skyscrapers constantly springing up along this coastal *****, but its location is unbeatable. Right across the road from the beach, and barely 5 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Cavill Avenue, yet once you're inside the apar**ent, you never feel like you're in the thick if it, and there's virtually no noise disturbance, so the best of both worlds really. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff friendly, and parking is free - another bonus that is rapidly dying out! There is also a nice pool, sauna/steam facilities, games room and small gym. And so to those compromises - There's no in-room laundry facilities, no dishwasher, and I think this is the only hotel room I've ever seen anywhere in Australia without aircon. (ceiling fans only) More of an observation than a criticism, but we only stayed for one night so it didn't really affect us. It could have been potentially problematic for a longer stay, especially in hot weather, so worth thinking about. Overall, I found Chateau Beachside excellent value and a pleasant place to stay for a short-medium visit. If you are realistic about what you can expect at this price point, you will definitely not be disappointed.

Stayed recently during the week so no noise from Cali beach club next door. In fact perfectly quiet once balcony door was shut. But hey, your in Surfers Paradise so you can't expect absolute silence. Rooms were a bit in need of a paint but so what. It was immaculately clean, smelt lovely and was cheap as well. Bathroom amenities smelt beautiful. Big containers of shampoo and conditioner and body lotion and bath gel/ hand wash. I didn't have to use any of my own supplies except toothpaste and toothbrush. The girls on reception were extremely kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

Most mornings I walk past the Langham Broadbeach gold coast, with my dogs and often comment, that I should stay there and see what it is like. So I bit the bullet and booked a room. And a reservation at Tang Court for lunch. From the moment we stepped out of the car, it was a superb atmosphere, and dripping with friendly service. Check-in was a breeze and we were given a full run down of the hotel. That was the only moment of regret, I didn't pack my swimsuit so couldn't get in the magnesium pool.....but I will go back for sure. Up to our to the room and it had the biggest bath, so bugger the magnesium pool. stopped by the lobby bar for a pre-lunch drink and service was quick and accurate. Then on to level 3, where we are greeted as though we are long lost friends and taken to our table. The food at Tang Court was next level and I even got a doggy bag.......so much food. Not cheap, but worth every cent and the experience. After our very long lunch it was back to the room to drop off the doggy bag and to explore the rest of the hotel. I took my glass of bubbles with me quite expecting to be told to leave it behind, but no, everyone just smiled warmly and I am sure had there been an open bottle somewhere they would have topped me up. As we are locals, I invited family down to check out the lodgings and was met with the appropriate ”ooo and aahhh!!!”. Back to the lobby bar and timed it perfectly to view the fireworks on the beach at Surfers. The bed was super comfy, great pillows and the curtains closed, made a princess sleeping paradise. Next morning it was a toss up to go to the café or the buffet breakfast. Glad we chose the buffet, $59 each and all you can eat. I definitely ate my $$$ worth. Checkout came too soon at 11am, but it was nice to have the extra hour and not the traditional 10am check-out. On checkout we of course were asked, did we have far to go home? not far I said.......about 900 metres. very pleased with our STAYCATION...........thankyou Langham,ill blow you a warm kiss as I walk past this week.

I was one of the attendees for FurDU 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Gold Coast (11 - 15 May 2023), and I was very pleasantly surprised about my time at the hotel itself. Once I got to the hotel, I went to reception, took a little while to check in, the staff were very friendly and quite helpful. They explained to me some of the key features of the hotel itself, also the fact that I was one of their club members or something, and that I had free internet throughout my stay - which was a bonus - hardly ever used it though. As I walked back to the lift I checked my room number - which had a bit of significance with myself (give you a clue: the angelic number). To get to your floor, just simply tap the card on the scanner, then press the floor, only took a matter of seconds before I reached mine, and not long before I had finally let myself into my room. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, as I placed my bags down I took a quick tour of the room to see what amenities I had. The bathroom was quite spacious, a rather large shower and plenty of towels etc (which came in handy). As I'd spent a long trip getting up to the hotel I was a bit on the sweaty side, so I got a quick change of clothes, had a quick shower (make sure the door clicks all the way in - otherwise you'll end up flooding the bathroom floor which is what I ALMOST did). (There's so much positive stuff to write about the hotel - so I'll keep it short) The bed itself, quite spacious, the pillows themselves were plenty enough, I found that I got a good night's sleep, and in the morning went down had some breakfast - a great selection to choose from, be it from hot food, to pastries, cereal and even fruit and yoghurt. Relish (the restaurant) takes care of breakfast in the morning, plenty of space to sit, have as much as you want to eat for breakfast and get out again. Dinners were absolutely amazing, same spot, the staff were quite friendly, very quick to take my order (had the chicken parmi one night, the burger the next), and a beer or two to drink. The next night I went to the restaurant - I pretty much got the same spot where I sat last time, the wait staff even remembered what kind of beer I had from the night before ... now THAT'S impressive, also one aspect about service that I really enjoyed. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, so much so I honestly cannot wait to return next year to experience it all over again .. In all honesty there's nothing at all I can fault the hotel for .. a full 5 * review from all aspects of the hotel, the staff, the food and beverage and everything they've got to offer. So, if you're looking for a place to stay, be it for a short trip away, or a longer vacation, depends on what you're doing, be it visiting the theme parks or the local attractions, I would, without hesitation, highly recommend your stay at the Crowne Plaza Surfer's Paradise, try and get a room with a high floor facing the beach as the views

Wir blieben zwei Nächte als Familie von vier und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Kinder liebt den Lobbyspielplatz, Wasserpark, Trampolin und riesige Schach. Die Eltern liebt die Getränke aus der Bar, vor allem die Spaßgefrorenen! Der Platz ist zwei Blocks vom Strand entfernt und wir gingen dort mehrere Male. Wir konnten auch den Strand bis zum Stadtzentrum (ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß) laufen. Die Größe des Zimmers war groß und es war schön, dass die Kinder ihr eigenes Zimmer hatten. Das Zimmer könnte eine Aktualisierung verwenden, aber es war gut für das, was wir brauchten. Wir schätzten, dass wir einen Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle und ein Tauchbad haben. Insgesamt würde ich diesen Ort für Familien empfehlen.

Der Aufenthalt im Marriott haben wir sehr genossen. Der Pool ist wirklich einzigartig. Vor allem der Salzwasserpool mit seinem natürlichen Sandstrand. Das gesamte Becken ist einem Meeresboden nachgeahmt, bis zu 4,5 Meter tief und sogar mit einem Riff und Fischen! Außerdem noch eine Felsengrotte mit Wasserfall. Aber auch der 2. Pool wäre in jedem anderen Hotel ein Highlight. Eingepasst in die tropische Landschaft und Whirlpools war auch dieser Pool ein Genuss. Der Rest des Hotels ist ebenfalls Oberklasse. Nicht zuletzt auch wegen des beeindruckenden Blickes (Meerseite zu empfehlen, aber auch der „Bergblick“ ist nicht schlecht). Die Zimmer an sich typisch Marriott. Sehr groß und vom Stil her würde ich es als „gediegen“ bezeichnen. Frühstück war ein weiteres Highlight. Man kann sich ein Omelett nach eigenen Wünschen machen lassen. Gut gefallen hat uns ausserdem dass sogar eine Saftpresse vorhanden ist mit verschiedenen Früchten und Kräutern. Von der Lage her vielleicht der Hinweis: Zum Strand hin sind es nur ein paar Schritte und dieser Strandabschnitt ist eher einsam, eher geeignet zu Strandspaziergängen. Im Meer selbst haben wir nicht gebadet, uns war das Wasser Anfang Dezember zu kalt und es war auch nicht sehr viel los. Der Wellengang eher schwach (eher ungefährlich). Zum Zentrum hin läuft man etwa 15 Minuten. Direkt ums Marriott herum gibt es nur wenige Restaurants.
