Please see the email below that was sent to Marriott: Good Afternoon My name is Nicole McCorvey and I am a Marriott member I do patronize the hotel chain often whether it is a direct book or a third party. On 8/07 I booked a room at Town place in Streetsboro (under trip.com) due to the tornado that went through our area, we were in need of a place due to the need for oxygen. Thankfully we were able to receive a battery operated tank and everything worked out. and we did not have to bring our senior parents from Parma to Streetsboro. I reached out to the property and was told no refund, which was ok I then called back to inquire about a credit the representative (Adam) informed me that the manager was not avail and he would ask her tomorrow I informed him tomorrow would be to late and he stated "well if the room goes to waste, it goes to waste" I informed him that that was terrible customer service. and an extremely rude thing to say. He (Adam) begin to take deep breaths, I stated to him that the deep breaths on the call are also extremely rude and not necessary. He stated he would leave notification for his manager for the credit 08/08 arrives and no one calls me I call the property and speak with Victoria ( NOTE: to be a general manger, she should go back and receive customer service training) she stated "you've called here three times and nothing can be done for you." I was present when you spoke with Adam the first time, she cut me off and kept saying we told you already. This is not true, it is up to the discretion of the property I can tell you I will NEVER patronize that Townplace and word of mouth is the greatest advertisement Sincerely An extremely dissatisfied Customer Nicole McCorvey

Excellent service and attention to detail! Room was comfortable, clean and spacious - Housekeeper wrote a message of greeting for us and was attentive to all of our needs during our stay. Jenn was amazing keeping all the breakfast items well stocked - great variety of hot and cold offerings including at least 10 different toppings for hot oatmeal plus little quiches, boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, sliced cheeses and great selection of pastries and cold cereals. Hot waffle maker too! Staff was courteous, efficient and friendly! Coffee bar in lobby also included great selection of tea, lemon juice, honey, hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies! We were very pleased to stay at this hotel.

One night stay for an event at my son’s college. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to get to. Lots of parking and staff was very friendly on arrival. Unfortunately the room I was given had a very damp, odd smell although it looked very clean. I could have dealt with that for one night, but then I closed the blackout curtains and saw BLOOD spattered on the back of one of the panels (I’m a healthcare provider. It was clearly blood). I went back to the desk, and the very pleasant clerk reassigned me to a different room which she stated was the last one she had. It smelled much better and was also generally very clean, although the shower floor grout was very grungy/moldy. Better mold than blood! The bed was a bit firm, but overall OK and the hotel was quiet overnight even though it was full. I just had cereal for breakfast although the offerings looked nice and fresh. A very mixed experience, particularly given what I paid. Will probably stay elsewhere next time.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The little stove was outdated. The pool was too dirty to use. The food was awesome. Overall a decent deal for 1 overnight in Twinsburg. Nice and friendly staff and free cookies and coffee. Very nice big closets for the rooms and nice tubs

I’m always a little nervous checking into hotels as I feel I never really know what I’m going to get. What a pleasant surprise this was. Very friendly (well it is Ohio where everyone is friendly) staff, very clean room, great water pressure in the shower and nice to have the mini kitchen although we didn’t use it. The breakfast was much nicer than expected with cage free eggs, organic milk, vegetarian options, great granola and everything else you would want. The breakfast host was kind and helpful too! The area around the hotel was clean and felt very safe - just off of I 80 in an area of chain hotels and restaurants.

Worst customer service ever. Needed a bigger room and refused to let me switch wanted me to pay for two rooms and put small children alone. Just want your money and for me to book two rooms. I have been a Marriot member for years and this hotel does not care.

One of the most dated Marriott properties we have stayed in. Staff friendly. Pool was closed which was a shame, seems a bit early to close as not winter yet! Breakfast room tiny with maybe seating for 10 maximum but good selection. Sofa all scratched from a dog or cat (see photo), TV really small (see photo) which didn’t bother us but might others. Top marks to housekeeping (see photo) Victoria for putting note re my Gold request. Never had this before.

We stopped here overnight during a road trip and it was perfect for us. The pet fee is reasonable. The reason I give this chain hotel a 5 dot rating is two fold. First, the front desk was exceptional. The person attended to every request promptly and politely. The second reason for the good review is the exceptional housekeeping staff. Since Covid, I've found some hotels to be lacking in this area. Not this one.
