I stayed at this property in May 2024 while attending my niece's graduation at Tarleton State University. Of course, the rates were highly inflated as a result of this being a graduation weekend. I booked a King Bed Studio suite with Whirlpool 6 months in advance for $570 for 2 nights. A few days before I arrived I received an email from Hilton to check-in and select a room. I did so an selected room 327. When I arrived, I was assigned room 105, a regular King room. Not a suite and no Whirlpool. I wwnt back to the front desk and after several minutes of them asking me to verify my original reservation, etc., they decided they screwed up and assigned me room 302. That room was a suite but still no Whirlpool. I was busy and had no time for further arguing. So congrats Hampton Inn, you screwed me over as I just paid the premium rate for a lesser room. In general, I have nothing but problems with every Hilton property I stay at, which is why I as a Marriott premium member I usually stay at their properties where I never have issues. The only bright side is that the desk agent Mark is very nice but ultimately he was of no help. Furthermore, this property needs to spend some time and money on landscaping. Overgrown weeds, etc. The place looks like a dump from the outside! Breakfast was less than up to typical Hilton standards. I arrived an hour before it ended and they were out of just about everything. No attendant in sight so that was disappointing.
