Have been traveling through Europe and should spend the night and travel on the following morning. when we approached and needed to find login information and there was nothing sent to us. No SMS and no email. We called the hotel and said we have not received any information. The man said "Yes you have!". We was surprised by the man's language, since we had checked several times and there were no messages from the hotel. Not even in junk mail. He said, somewhat reluctantly, that he would resend the information, and it would take 30 sec. Since we still did not receive any messages from the hotel, we called again. There was then half an hour until the reception was supposed to close. Instead of helping us enter the code to enter the room that we had already paid for, he doesn't pick up the phone. He would also send us the information on the phone we called him. As this is at 00:30 at night, it is not easy to find any available hotel. Finally we meet a nice man at the reception at the Thon Hotel Halden in Norway who arranges accommodation for us, a extra drive of almost two hours. The next day we talk to the man at Spekerod and we are very suprised that he is rude and arrogant towards us. He takes no criticism that there were problems with the system, and will not admit that he could have fixed this the night before. We can't recommend anyone to use this hotel. Stay away!
