Das Hotel ist hinter einigen kommerziellen Gebäuden gefangen, aber wenn die Türen geöffnet sind und Sie die Fahrbahn bewegen, verschwunden es alle. Das Hotel ist elegant mit Aufmerksamkeit auf Details. Jeder Raum ist sorgfältig geregelt, um Ihnen zu helfen, sich bequem zu fühlen.  Das Personal ist das, was Taru Villa wirklich glänzen lässt. Vorgesetzt vom Hotelmanager, das Personal ist willkommen und warm. Sie konnten nichts mehr fragen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Das Gespräch war sogar besser. Wir empfehlen jedem sehr. Gut gemacht Taru Villa, gut gemacht!"

"Zunächst einmal kommt das Frühstück mit Curry oder Toast Fruchtbrot. Die Lage ist ziemlich weit vom Candy Lake entfernt, so ist es unkomfortable, aber es ist gut, die lokale Kultur zu fühlen. Die Einrichtungen sind gut, weil der Fitness- und Schwimmbad gut gepflegt ist. Besonders wenige Leute nutzen den Schwimmbad und den Fitness-Zimmer, also wollte ich es allein tun. Das Personal war alles freundlich und es war so nett, aber als die beiden Chinesen als Gruppe zu einem Besuch kamen und blieben, war es zu laut und irritierend. Der größte Vorteil dieses Schlafzimmers ist, dass Muslime oder Sri Lankaner oft hier heiraten, so dass Sie, wenn Sie Glück haben, sie heiraten können. Ich hatte Glück, dass Muslime und Sri Lankaner heiraten."

"I absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, and the views were nice. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the peaceful atmosphere. My room was cozy and relaxing, and I especially loved the bathtub which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The infinity pool was another highlight with gorgeous ocean views, though it was a bit on the cool side. I do wish it had been heated, but it was still a beautiful spot to relax. Room service was great too! Good selection and reasonably priced for a hotel. Cons: On my last day, I treated myself to a 90-minute aromatherapy massage at the spa. Unfortunately, I’d rate the spa a 5/10. Living in Thailand has definitely spoiled me with incredible massages, so I admit my standards are high! Still, I think the spa could use a bit of a refresh. The rooms smelled a bit old and weren’t very visually appealing. It was also quite cold during the body scrub and massage, which made it hard to fully relax. Breakfast was okay, but I wish there were more Western-style options available. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Everything about the hotel itself was lovely, I’d just skip the spa next time!"

"Nice hotel with a great view over the river. Some of the furniture in the rooms are a bit dated and could do with some DIY. The room lighting could be improved and the odour inside the washroom should be better managed. Beds were comfy, rooms were very spacious and the facilities in the hotel were good. Food was tasty and had a wide variety."

"kandy 傑特威畫廊酒店 安靜舒適的休憩之地，服務細節有待提升 入住了Kandy的傑特威畫廊酒店，總體來説是一段令人放鬆的體驗。 酒店的房間寬敞明亮，配有陽台，我很幸運地住到了正對泳池的房間，視野極佳。房間的舒適度很好，每天早上醒來，推開陽台門，眼前就是泳池和遠處的大自然，十分愜意。酒店靠着斯里蘭卡著名的馬哈維利河（Mahaweli River），周圍的生態環境非常好，空氣也非常好。經常能看到各種鳥類和鷹，非常適合喜歡安靜和親近自然的人。 泳池是我最喜歡的部分。幾乎全天候開放，清晨或傍晚游泳時，感覺整個泳池和天地都屬於我，讓人倍感放鬆。餐廳也正對泳池，用餐時既能享受美景，又能感受到自然的靜謐。每天早餐後，我都會坐在平台上看書或處理工作，氣氛安靜，温度適宜，回想在整個斯里蘭卡20多天的旅程中，這裡是為數不多讓我能安心讀書的地方之一。 酒店距離市區較遠，可能對希望探索Kandy市區的遊客來説有二三十分鐘的開車時間。其次，服務細節的專業度還有提升空間。例如，入住時有服務人員表演當地舞蹈，但明顯有些敷衍。之後，酒店安排了一位專屬服務員，並遞給我一個手機供隨時聯繫，但她的服務顯得比較生疏。例如在房間時，我問窗簾是手動還是電動的，她回答是手動後，演示了一下又拉開了窗簾，而當時已是晚上6、7點，天色完全黑了，完全沒有打開的必要。同樣一位服務員，每天早上吃早餐時，都會問我要吃什麼。我説吃麥片時，總會問是加椰糖漿還是蜂蜜，而我連續四天都選擇了椰糖漿，但每天還是會被重複詢問。都是小事，但也可以看出服務更多是一個形式。 總的來説，Kandy的傑特威畫廊酒店是一個適合放鬆和親近自然的地方。它的房間、泳池和周圍環境都很好，性價比也高。如果能在服務細節上進一步完善，主動、貼心地去服務，整體體驗會更加令人滿意。 A Peaceful and Comfortable Retreat, but with Room for Service Improvement I stayed at the Jetwing Kandy Gallery during my visit to Kandy, and overall, it was a relaxing experience. The rooms are spacious and bright, with balconies. I was fortunate to have a room overlooking the pool, which offered a fantastic view. The room was very comfortable, and every morning, I enjoyed waking up, stepping onto the balcony, and soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. The hotel is located by the famous Mahaweli River, and the natural environment around it is excellent, with frequent sightings of various birds and eagles. It’s a great place for those who love peace and nature. The pool was my favorite part of the hotel. It’s open almost all day, and swimming in the morning or evening felt like having the entire pool and sky to myself, a truly serene experience. The restaurant also overlooks the pool, and dining there offers both visual and sensory enjoyment. After breakfast each day, I would sit on the terrace, read a book, or work. It was quiet, and the temperature was perfect—not too hot. This hotel was one of the few places during my 20-day trip in Sri Lanka where I could truly relax and enjoy some peaceful reading time. However, the hotel has some shortcomings in its service. First, it’s located quite far from the city center, which might not be convenient for those looking to explore Kandy. Second, the quality of service felt unrefined. For example, upon check-in, staff members performed a traditional song and dance, but it felt half-hearted. Later, I was assigned a personal service staff member and given a phone for direct contact. However, the staff member seemed inexperienced. For instance, when I asked if the curtains were manual or electric, they demonstrated how to close them but then reopened them, even though it was already 6-7 p.m. and completely dark outside. These small details reflected a lack of polish in the service. Another minor issue was at breakfast. Every morning, I chose cereal and was asked if I preferred coconut syrup or honey. I answered “coconut syrup” every time, but the staff still asked me the same question every day. While it’s a small matter, it suggests room for improvement in their service process. Overall, the Jetwing Kandy Gallery is a great place to relax and connect with nature. The rooms, pool, and surrounding environment are excellent. If the hotel could enhance its service details, such as being more attentive to guests’ habits and preferences, the experience would be even better."

"Der Restaurantservice ließ deutlich zu wünschen übrig. Der Zimmerservice verweigerte uns um 22:00 Uhr ein Sandwich. Insgesamt war nichts zufriedenstellend. Der Service war mal sehr hilfsbereit, mal eher weniger. Die Aussicht war mittelmäßig. Der Preis war für die gebotene Qualität angemessen. Die Badezimmertür war unpraktisch. Die Stromversorgung ist für europäische Verhältnisse nicht ausreichend."

"hotel has a history that makes staying here worth the price and experience, walking into the lobby, one is transported back in time to a space of 1800s as they have preserved the hotel in it's origin condition. the high ceilings with hanging lights, wide red carpeted stairs and antique birdcage elevators adds bring out the beauty and charm of old. we booked a city view room and was upgraded to a pool view room, where it's less quite and the rooms more exquisite. hotel breakfast restaurant overlooks Kandy lake, giving the morning meal another layer of admiration as we dine in wood furnitured environment. location is superb, Kandy Lake and Buddha Tooth Temple just across the street and the Big Buddha Temple less than 25mins stroll away. lots of good food places around for one to explore and eat. rooms are old but charming that way, the wooden floors creak and is uneven but that's the fun of staying in a hotel with almost 200years of history. staff are charming and friendly, always ready to help. a prestigious hotel in Kandy, highly recommended for anyone who visits this beautiful city on a mountain top."
