4-Sterne-Hotels in Oslo

Einwandfreies Hotelzimmer, schönes Badezimmer. In 15 Minuten mit der Straßenbahn/U-Bahn ins Stadtzentrum, das nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt ist. Fantastisches Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption, im Restaurant und im Reinigungs-/Wartungsbereich. Gegenüber befindet sich ein nettes thailändisches Restaurant.

Definitely a busier part of town but we enjoyed being in the middle of it. Could see and hear the water fountains in the park from window. There is a little second level perch/balcony which was amazing to sit at during the evening sun while sipping some of the delicious white wine provided by hotel. Easy walk to the train stations and overall great location for walking to all of the places we wanted to go to. Beds were very comfortable and we had excellent sleep! Morning breakfast was amazing and had a very nice ambiance! I can’t believe the fresh juice station and health shots…America needs to step up the game as far as hotel breakfasts.

We stayed there 3nights , we enjoyed our holiday, its location is very fantastic and the environment and surrounding are very beautiful,  our room was very clean and ever day cleaning is done timely, but it’s a matter of sorrow that there was no drinking water facilities in the room, except this everything was great, wish could visit Oslo again and stay there ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Ausstattung: Frühstück und Abendessen inklusive – einfach perfekt! Die Preise in Norwegen sind relativ hoch, daher ist ein Buffet im Hotel ein absolutes Muss! Sie werden nicht nur satt, sondern ernähren sich auch gesund. Die Schalldämmung ist mittelmäßig; morgens hört man den Wecker im Nebenzimmer, aber auf Reisen braucht man ja nicht unbedingt auszuschlafen. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Das Restaurantpersonal ist sehr freundlich und begrüßt Sie mit „Guten Morgen“ und wünscht Ihnen eine angenehme Reise. Gäste können ihr Gepäck kostenlos aufbewahren. Lage: 8 Gehminuten vom Osloer Hauptbahnhof und 10 Gehminuten von der Osloer Oper entfernt. Oslo selbst ist jedoch nicht sehr groß; vom Hauptbahnhof aus sind die meisten Orte innerhalb von 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der entscheidende Vorteil ist, dass sich das Hotel bereits im Herzen von Oslo befindet und die Straßen nach 20 Uhr praktisch menschenleer sind. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Oslo bin!

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Man kann die überdachte Brücke zum nahegelegenen Einkaufszentrum überqueren, im ersten Stock aussteigen, die Straße überqueren und direkt ins Hotel gelangen. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist aufgrund von Renovierungs- und Bauarbeiten sowie aus menschlicher Sicht etwas schmutzig und wenig ansprechend. In nur fünf Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß die Hauptstraße, den zentralen Platz oder die Oper. Das Hotel selbst ist, wie die anderen Kettenhotels auch, durchaus empfehlenswert. Kostenloser Kaffee/Tee, Wasser/Limonade stehen in der Lobby bereit, manchmal auch Obst und Gebäck. Wir bekamen ein geräumiges Zimmer im vierten Stock mit großen, zu öffnenden Fenstern. Das ist bei Hitze sehr angenehm, allerdings gehen die Fenster zu einem Innenhof hinaus, sodass man weder Aussicht hat noch gut lüften kann. Das Zimmer war zwar belüftet, aber nicht klimatisiert. Das Bett war bequem. Das Badezimmer war groß und angenehm mit einer geräumigen Dusche, in der man sich nicht drängen muss. Es gab zwei Waschbecken und ein großes Fenster. Eine Sitzecke mit zwei Sesseln und einer Stehlampe (ohne Glühbirne...). Das Zimmer war in einem akzeptablen, aber nicht herausragenden Zustand. (Fehlende Glühbirne, Flecken auf dem Sesselbezug, verstopfter Duschkopf, den wir um Austausch baten und der umgehend erfolgte). Ein sehr gutes, abwechslungsreiches und wunderbares Frühstück, wie in der gesamten Hotelkette. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen, wenn wir viel Gepäck hätten und nur eine Nacht dort verbringen wollten, aber nicht für einen Urlaub.

Keine gute Erfahrung in den Numa Hallen. NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT. Die Zimmer sind zwar groß, sauber und ruhig, aber das „Hotel“ ist personell völlig unkoordiniert. Der digitale Check-in funktionierte zunächst nicht. Wir haben die angekündigte Check-in-E-Mail nicht erhalten. Vielleicht klappt es, wenn man direkt bei Numa bucht und nicht über einen Drittanbieter wie Trip. Wir wissen es nicht. Wir riefen auf der Website an, und Trip gab eine Telefonnummer für den Check-in-E-Mail-E-Mail-Empfang an. Diese ist jedoch nicht mehr vergeben. Dieser Mangel wurde bereits in früheren Bewertungen erwähnt. Liest die überhaupt jemand? Wir hatten die vorherigen Bewertungen gelesen und die WhatsApp-Nummer am Eingang notiert. Darauf waren wir vorbereitet. Die WhatsApp-Nummer bietet jedoch nur eine virtuelle Ansage. Es ist also keine mündliche Kommunikation möglich, nur kurze, lesbare Textnachrichten. Nach einigen Hürden erhielten wir unsere Check-in-Daten schließlich auf dem Bürgersteig vor dem Hotel. Wir dachten schon, wir müssten eine Weile auf der Straße schlafen. Drinnen angekommen, bemerkten wir das große Schild in der Küche, das darauf hinweist, beim Kochen ein Fenster offen zu lassen. Am nächsten Morgen gingen alle Feuermelder im Hotelbereich los. Vielleicht war irgendwo ein Fenster geschlossen. Der Alarm ließ sich nicht abstellen, also evakuierten wir wie viele andere mit unserem Gepäck. Vermutlich passiert das häufiger, angesichts der auffälligen Warnleuchte. Die Erfahrung war nicht gut und ist ein gutes Beispiel dafür, wie Technologie das Leben erschwert. Der Versuch, Menschen aus dem Gastgewerbe zu verdrängen, mindert dessen Gastfreundschaft. Außerdem gibt es keine Alternative außer bedeutungslosen, wertlosen und nicht nachvollziehbaren Entschuldigungen. Die Kommunikationsausfälle und der Fehlalarm des Feueralarms sind gravierende Mängel in der Infrastruktur. Ich würde dort nicht wieder übernachten.

This is a great hotel to stay at on your trip to Bergen. The hotel has a fantastic location close to the water front and an easy walk to the tram, shopping, restaurants, among the many attractions. There are so many different places to eat and a wide variety of food to chose from. The hotel is staffed by very nice people who speak a variety of languages. There is free coffee and tea around the corner from the reception, and they have a small reception area with some seating to you can get a drink or just wait for friends to come down to the lobby. The breakfast, which opens at 6:30 is a dream! One of the best breakfasts I have seen in many years of traveling. The room are good sized, but that obvious depends on what you ask/pay for. We enjoyed out stay here immensely!

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my recent 20-day trip. It’s perfectly located with stunning views of the city and right next to Oslo Winter Park, making it an ideal choice for skiers like me. Although it takes about 30 minutes by train to reach the city center, you may find it hard to leave the hotel because of its beautiful scenery. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the complimentary coffee, hot tea, and apples available in the common areas. The staff were friendly; we had a lovely chat with one of them for almost half an hour. The breakfast included was quite good as well. The only downside was that the room, especially the shower, was a bit small, but it was perfectly acceptable for the price. I would definitely consider visiting again.

For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Myself and a group of HE students have returned home from a conference where we stayed in this hotel. The staff were really helpful and polite. Every morning we would ask for fresh towels at reception and these were either provided there and then or delivered to the room within 10 minutes of the request. The hotel is located around 10-15 minutes walk away from the marina, the tube station, royal palace. The students really enjoyed how central the hotel was to everything. Check in and out was smooth, and the rooms were clean. There was a QR code in the room to scan if you wanted the cleaner to come in on a daily basis.  There was a small selection of snacks in the reception area to purchase. On the other hand the breakfast variety was really good.  From fresh waffles and pancakes to cooked breakfast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit, fresh smoothies and juices.  Overall this hotel is great if you want a base to go and explore Oslo. I would recommend this hotel to a weekend away.
