2-Sterne-Hotels in Phuket

My initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later). But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform. Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this. A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq ! Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste. Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine. Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

Ich habe drei Nächte hier verbracht und es war definitiv die beste Entscheidung, dieses Hostel zu wählen. Es ist schön und sauber. Das WLAN ist superschnell und man kann es sogar vom Bett aus nutzen, nicht nur in der Lobby. Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Ein großes Dankeschön an Joy, Kim und das burmesische Mädchen Htoo Htoo für euren tollen Service; weiter so! Wenn ich die Gelegenheit dazu habe, komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder. ✌️

Ich war gerade zum ersten Mal in einem Mehrbettzimmer. Es ist viel bequemer als ich dachte. Das Badezimmer und die Dusche sind sehr sauber. Unten gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten.

The room is clean and house cleaning everyday. Location is super good , near to old town street and alot restaurants nearby. Water pressure very low. One of the block doesn’t have elevator, have to carry ur luggage up and down.

Sehr schöne Zimmer, gute Klimaanlage, Dusche mit starkem Wasserstrahl (insbesondere in Thailand selten), trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig im Zimmer. Hotel hat keinen Aufzug (war aber davor bekannt, wird beim Zimmer bereits darauf hingewiesen). Gepäckaufbewahrung nach Checkout war möglich. Die Rezeption ist früher und länger besetzt als angegeben - also auch für frühes Aufbrechen mit der Fähre kein Problem.

This used to be a quiet and sleepy village with a tourist off-season. Now, it is bustling and packed with tourist signage, restaurants, and shops and seems more crowded. This hotel has a restaurant in the back right on the beach. The food is ok with tourist prices (you can walk down just 100 meters to a great restaurant) but the setting is fantastic. Beware, the path from the street/front of hotel/restaurant goes right past the rooms in a little hallway. Get a room on the 2nd floor if possible. The rooms are ok and nothing to rave about. It can feel claustrophobic since the only tiny window opens directly to a cement wall and you'd keep the main entrance/sliding doors closed and covered for privacy. It is very dark at night.

Helt ärligt så var jag ganska nöjd till en början, sen insåg jag att en av handdukarna jag fick var abnormalt stor. Jag förstod sedan att den stora handduken egentligen var mitt täcke och blev lite besviken ska inte ljuga. När natten kom och AC sattes på insåg jag att det skulle bli en sömnlös natt präglad av arktiska vindar, 16C AC + handduk som täcke är bevisligen en dålig kombo. Läget är dock bra och personalen är trevlig det är synd att klag

Wir haben hier tatsächlich fünf Tage am Stück verbracht! Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, und ich hätte gern noch mehr geschrieben! Die Zimmer waren groß, komfortabel und sehr sauber. Der Besitzer ist Chinese, und die Bettwäsche wurde kürzlich erneuert. Der Service war aufmerksam; eines Nachts telefonierte der indische Gast nebenan um 2:30 Uhr lautstark, und der Besitzer antwortete prompt über WeChat! Die Atmosphäre im Gästehaus war sehr gemütlich, mit Eichhörnchen, Katzen und anderen kleinen Tieren! Der Strand ist direkt vor der Tür! Gleich daneben befindet sich ein lokaler Nachtmarkt! Die Essensstände draußen sind ebenfalls günstig und lecker! Ich war begeistert! Und der Preis von 200-300 RMB in der Hochsaison ist wirklich unschlagbar!

Das Hostel hat eine sehr hervorragende Lage. Alle Dienstleistungen sind nahe dem Hostel. Das Beste ist, dass der Hostelarbeiter freundlich ist und hohe Moral hat. Ich empfehle, dieses Hostel zu besuchen und Sie werden es nicht bedauern.

J'aurai voulu mettre 5 étoiles, mais au debut j'ai eu quelques piqûres et la troisième nuit je m'aperçois que cela me gratte de partout, plus d'une centaine de piqûres de puces de lit sur tout le corps. Elle etaient sur mes draps et jai pu en écraser trois. J'ai Envoyé les photos a 2h du matin à la direction et nuit sans sommeil et sans eau pour se laver. Pourtant l'hôtel est propre. Mais ”dans mon cas” maintenant impossible d'aller à la plage ou aux massages. Arrêt des vacances.
