Being a HH member means nothing. I haven't stayed yet, but if the stay is anything like what I've experienced so far, I won't be going back. Be careful when booking a HH rate. They will not let you cancel or change within 5 days of your stay. They realized there was an event, raised the prices, and made it so you had to book 2 nights to be able to stay the 1 you need. I don't think that's looking out for the customers. That's just taking advantage of the situation to make more money. Then.... the day before the event, the prices drop, yet they won't honor the lower price. I am being charged the higher price after already paying for 2 nights and only need 1. I was told the fees can be waived, it just depends on who you get on the phone. Apparently, I didn't get the right person. I'm contemplating just not showing up and paying the 1 night cancelation and leaving them with an empty/unbooked room for the 2nd night. That's how I feel I've been treated throughout this experience. If you're able to stay elsewhere, or book a non HH refundable rate, I'd do that. They definitely don't do anything extra for HH members. I'd say it is even worse.
