An amazing hotel with everything you want at your fingertips. This hotel was just perfect and offered us the best location to be able to see all spilt had to offer. From the lovely breakfast cool spacious and comfortable rooms to the excellent service from all staff. We couldn't fault this hotel in any way. If you want convenience this place is for you. Yes it doesn't have sea views but it has everything else you need and a three minutewalk to the boardwalk passing along the beautiful paths and shops. We didn't eat at the restaurant downstairs as there were so many options in close vicinity so cant comment on dinner there. Rating 10

The pros: Lovely renovated hotel Clean and very new furnishings Great location Good Airconditioning Decent good quality breakfast Nice (but fairly expensive) restaurant out the front The cons: The walls must be so thin on a Friday night I felt my bed was in the middle of a bar! Could hear someone whistling in the stairwell at 6am for same reason Taxis can’t enter old town so you need to walk Shower design means it floods

Wonderful hotel. Great location inside the city walls. Large, clean rooms with all of the amenities. We were lucky to get a balcony but didn't even use it. Why stay in the room when so much to do in the city? Staff was great and they let us check in early since the rooms were ready. They offered; we didn't even need to ask. They also held our luggage for us when we checked out since we had time for lunch before having to leave Split. We would definitely stay there again, and we recommend it to everyone. There is a bit of an uphill walk from the taxi drop off to the hotel, but if you want to stay in the city center that is your only option. Contact the hotel for luggage assistance. A complimentary buffet breakfast and/or order off the menu was included. There were many options so finding something you like to eat should not be an issue. Have seen some reviews knocking the breakfast. Why anyone would complain about what they offered is puzzling. I guess you just can't satisfy some people. Would highly recommend!!

Nice four star hotel in middle of everything. Central location. Room was an apartment and good size but no balcony. Staff was 24 hours and very nice. Bathroom was very modern and comfortable bed. Breakfast was average. Staff will help you with luggage as no cars are allowed. Outside seating area was large and comfortable. For price paid, have no complaints.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, it’s at the entrance to Diocletian’s palace and located in the town’s square. It’s lovely, newly renovated, clean and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast had a wide variety and the outdoor patio was very busy. I would highly recommend this hotel. We were very impressed and would definitely stay there again. Best hotel in Split for location, food and ambiance.

A peaceful and elegant oasis amidst all the craziness! We are so glad to have found this place. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful. Everything is modern and chic, with a touch of old world. My husband is in construction and critiques everything but he was complementing how beautiful the tile and mill work were throughout the hotel, even in the bathrooms. The bed is comfy and linens are of high quality. Toiletries smells good and rooms and hallways smells good as well. The location can’t be beat and to top it all off, there are functioning fully updated elevators which is rare for buildings inside the Diocletian Palace which is a a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We loved the calm and quiet this hotel provided as well as their popular terrace bar out front. Really, you can't beat the location to see all of Split and the service was extremely helpful and kind. For such a large place and busy breakfasts it was surprisingly quiet and we all slept really well. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Loved their coffee. At night we would enjoy the Cafe Culture that Split does so well. The parade of people int he square was a show to behold. Our daughter bemoaned the lack of the pool but loved the room so she hung out there while we had an after dinner drink each night. Very classy, European feel and again - perfect location to explore the city.

Freshly renovated 5-star hotel on the central square in old time Split. There were 11 of us traveling together and they have several, multi-guest rooms including a family suite. Amazingly attentive service, large well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Check-in took a bit of time, checking all our IDs. The rooms were quiet, even facing the plaza. They met us at the ferry (pre arranged) to transport our bags in the hotel’s golf cart. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel’s plaza restaurant, and it was just wonderful with plenty of gluten-free options. Our waiter was GF knowledgeable and extremely attentive. The dinner was perfect even before we all enjoyed Lina’s desserts. They are in a refrigerated case near the bar, different every day, and also plenty of gluten-free dessert options. The passion fruit, chocolate ‘log’ was our favorite…both subtle and complex. Wish we could stay longer…will be back!
