We pulled up to hotel car parking str8 away I thought wow needs a sweep, very untidy , walked round the front toward reception and again I thought this is a bit run down trees growing out the guttering etc, The reception entrance actually wasn’t very inviting it looked like an emergency exit to be honest, (needs jazzing up a bit) . Very small reception area more the 4 people with luggage could be a problem. The check in went smooth and staff were very nice . The room was nice and clean and a comfortable sleep. The brewers fayre restaurant and bar which is owned by the same company which is adjoined to hotel, we had an evening meal there ,as we got seated they handed us a list of meals they didn’t have , it didn’t leave much left on the menu to have really, this was down to a supply issues so the member of staff told us, “it’s been like this for 5 weeks and they are very embarrassed and fed up telling customers this” surely this is a simple thing to sort out..?? Anyway breakfast was nice 👍 so overall below average stay but bed was comfy

Excellent hotel and location. Friendly and helpful staff within the hotel and exceptional service from the manager at the Brewers Fayre next door where one goes to eat breakfast and dinner on the Meal Deal offered at the Premier Inn. This is our third visit here.

A perfect base for a couple of days. A warm welcome, lovely Standard room, clean, very comfortable, warm, so quiet, and the bed… superb, wanted to take the mattress home. Friendly check out. Lovely location, right next to the sea. Enjoyed my stay and would happily return!

What can I say, this hotel deserves 10+++ stars. Helena and her team went above and beyond to help us today, when out taxi (wheelchair) didn't turn up. She sorted an alternative with Miss Daisy and sorted us a coffee ☕ and was just so calming and understanding. So we still made it to Southampton cruise terminal. Nothing was too much trouble. We also did the meal deal, which was very good, good at the brewers fayre was good and again staff very helpful. Amazing staff who were brilliant

Room 123. Grubby and dated - masking tape over bed side lamp switches. No power plugs near the bed. Toilet over flowed twice. Fire alarm set off by kitchen early hours. No telephone to call reception. Didn’t change the bed clothes as requested at reception. Worst Premier In we’ve stayed in. Wouldn’t return.

The hotel felt a bit dated and scruffy. The communal arrival area and downstairs corridors felt modern and clean but the upper floor corridors, and the room itself was very dated, rather scruffy and old fashioned. However for our purpose of a bed for the night it served us well. As always the premier inn mattress was very comfortable!!! The restaurant offered a tasty breakfast. The location was a great hub for exploring.
