Nakai Beach Homestay

This home stay is a jewel in the crown of Trafalgar on the KZN lower coast. The owners Grant and Paulo are superb hosts and their staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable. From the beautiful appointed room to the tasty and creative breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. We had typical October rainy weather for the two nights that we stayed there, but it did not affect the pleasure of the getaway at all. In fact with the world class view to help ebb away the stress, we soon found ourselves enveloped by the sheer bliss of the surroundings, helped along by the white noise created by the plethora of frogs that inhabit the beautiful gardens and surrounding bush. The walk down to the almost private beach is well worth the effort, with prolific bird life and stunning ocean scenery. Thanks guys for a truly memorable few days. Your oasis is superb and bliss certainly found us!

The property is very unique and has also an own unique design made by the owners themselves. I felt very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and the staff so friendly as the owners themselves. Thank you so much.

It felt like home. The owner is there with his team to offer a warm, hospitality that is so welcoming. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are super comfy well decorated and the bedding so luxurious. Food was incredible too. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I was looking for a couple days of sun, waves and beauty with no disturbances. I got it all at Nakai! Its definitely on my list of getaways to visit again. The views are breathtaking and the design of the space is meditative.

A tropical paradise offering all you would expect from a homestay, except, it is so much more. This is tranquility. It speaks to all of the senses. It is rare to find something so eclectic that anybody who visit can leave with an immediate lingering to come back. Breakfasts are exceptional offering 3 different options which in my book reach the highest of expectations. Service is friendly, yet guarantee you your privacy. Pool lazing is comfortable and inviting. Rooms are exceptionally clean, offers all you would expect in the most luxurious interior one could wish for. Grant and Paulo leaves no stone unturned to make your stay memorable for the right reasons. We will be back, frequently, we have been and never get disappointed or bored.
