Jacaranda Place Motor Inn

I booked a room for my eldest invalid sister to stay two nights for a Toowoomba meet and greet of her group, and the managers of the motel went to some length to ensure she got the right room for her needs. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay (including the supplied breakfasts). We were both most impressed with the room and the service, and will be using the Jacaranda Motel again.

Terrible experience. On arrival check in was painful we was travelling with a pet and they had double booked our room, they moved us to another room and charged us an extra $20 for their mistake. my hubby was waiting in the car wondering why it was talking so long. I explained what was going on. There was three police cars in the car park some incident had happened previously, which happened to be in our room, the receptionist told us to wait while she cleaned our room. When entering the room it absolutely stank of cheap cleaning fluid, I almost vomited at the smell, disgusting. Hubby went and asked one of the cops what had happened and did we need to be concerned, his reply was “we are not at liberty to say” the room was terrible it felt very exposed to the outside. Even my dog was adamant he wasn’t going in the room.We was booked in for two nights, I couldn’t stay there, it was very upsetting, we found another motel, no offer to refund our money was made, but was just glad to get away…
