Beechwood Guest House

I enjoyed my weekend stay at the Beechwood Guest House at South Shields. The host is friendly, helpful & will do all he can for his guest's. The single room with en suite I stayed in was exceptional. This room was immaculate, freshly decorated & well presented. The free wifi, smart tv, chair & table, kettle, iron & ironing board, fridge, hairdryer & last but not least Alexa was very pleasing. The bed was very comfortable & I also slept very well at the Beechwood. The breakfast cooked for me was delicious & what was on offer was faultless along with the service provided. Finally the Beechwood Guest House is without question one of the best places I have stayed at to date & it also offers me great value for my money afterall.

Lovely place perfect location for us, we stayed 3 nights in top floor street view room although the en suite was compact it was functional and along with the room spotlessly clean. Decent size room fridge and fresh milk on request and lovely biscuits!! Pre booked breakfast was also very good overall nothing but positive comments from us. Oh yeah we would stay here again next time we come up and visit friends. Thanks Rez

Small but perfect for a weekend break to attend a wedding party , Rez was a great host and cooked a fabulous breakfast. Central for beach , parks and town . Spotlessly clean and modern fittings . Would stay again without hesitation . Thank you Rex , keep up the good work .

A warm welcome from our friendly host Rez to his spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable guest house. Attention to detail is immaculate and some extra touches like chocolates, water , even a fridge in the room. Breakfast delicious and highly recommended. Would not stay anywhere else in this area.

10/10 for this Guesthouse. Room was stylishly furnished and spotlessly clean. Host a perfect gentleman with a friendly reception. Cannot recommend highly enough. 2 minutes pleasant walk to beautiful park, 5 from seafront. and leisure facilities.

Just spent 3 nights at the Beechwood. Great place to stay. Very close to the seafront and parks. Reza is a warm welcoming and helpful host, a good breakfast cook too. Our room had everything we need with some nice touches , light up magnifying mirror , welcome chocolates and a fridge , very useful. The bed was comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Decent prices , wel Highly recommended

My wife and I stayed at Beechwood Guest House for a short stay. To say it was excellent is an understatement. Our host Rez was friendly and so helpful with information about things to do and see. We have dietary needs and he went out of his way to meet all of them. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was very pleasant; the bed was very comfortable; the ensuite was great and the whole place was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. It is just a short walk (5 mins)to the beach. I highly recommend Beechwood as a great location to have a holiday.

This B&B is absolutely amazing. We stayed in room five which was perfect which also hosted a 45inch TV none of those tiny tv you can’t see. The whole place is spotless and standards second to none . Breakfast was the best ever and served hot and freshly cooked. The orange juice was real fresh orange juice too . You will not be disappointed staying at this little Gem of a place. Forget about big hotels this place has it all. Including free parking on the front xxxx Thank you our stay was just wonderful. We will be Back. Best wishes Elaine & Mike East Yorkshire
