While visiting some friends in the area, I decided to stay at this hotel. The hotel is nestled in an industrial area where there are plenty of semi tractor trailers on the streets during the day. Most of the hotel staff appeared friendly, particularly the lady who checked me in and the male clerk who checked me out. The manager seemed indifferent and not as friendly as her staff. During my stay, I had an issue with booking and requested to speak to the on-duty manager. She appeared annoyed at my request to speak directly to her. Nevertheless, the situation was dealt with professionally. As far as the room, it can certainly use an upgrade. The decor was dated and could use a good steam cleaning. The lobby and common areas could also use a thorough cleaning. Halfway through my week’s stay, I was ready to leave. There were small flies and various bugs in the room. See photos. I had a room facing the front of the hotel which I would not recommend. As I mention this is an industrial area with heavy truck traffic. Not to mention you are facing the New Jersey Turnpike/I-95 and you will hear that traffic during your stay. Had not been for the bugs and unclean room, I would have given this hotel review five stars. The location of the hotel is close to Princeton and roughly 45 minutes from New York City (off peak hours).

This is my third stay here. The first was good. The second my daughter found what looked like a poop stain on the chair in the room. This third stay started out poorly. I took a later plane than expected and arrived Wednesday morning, not Thursday evening. I hadn’t contacted the hotel, so they cancelled my reservation. I didn’t realize I needed to contact them, but that’s on me. They were able to get me a room, not the king suite I had reserved, but a two queens accessible room. And they told me they would honor the original rate, which I appreciated. The front desk clerk did make me feel like I was annoying them, but at least I had a room. When I got to the room I checked the Marriott Bonvoy app. It said my reservation was for only one night, when I had explicitly told the front desk clerk that I was staying for four nights. I called the front desk and they confirmed that I was staying the full time. Later that evening I checked again and the reservation still said only one night, so I went to the front desk and they extended my reservation. It now showed properly in the Marriott app, and I’m glad I confirmed that second time. The day of checkout, I got my bill and they overcharged me by more than $400. I checked the Marriott app and it now showed a completely different reservation at more than double the original rate. I went to the front desk and they told me to come back when a manager was available. I did, and they corrected the error. I’m glad I caught that before leaving. I got breakfast and requested late checkout, which they granted. When I returned to my room it had already been cleaned. Then I got a knock at the door at noon, which I answered telling them I was checking out at 1 pm. A few minutes later, they tried to enter. Overall, the communication between the front desk staff, Marriott, and housekeeping was poor bordering on incompetent. I expect they do a good job when everything goes smoothly, but it all falls apart when they have to deal with anything out of the ordinary.

All was well all the service staff were professional and polite Nya at the desk was super friendly! We were here for a meeting and the staff and food were very good! The room was set up and there were plenty of refreshments and drinks provided. Would recommend this location for business or pleasure

Nya was very friendly and everything was great. Was here for a conference and they were very accommodating with everything for that as well. The room was very clean. The hotel as a whole was very clean as well. If I ever come back to NJ I will stay here again!

This hotel was excellent! The staff, the. service, and the food was great! This was a family visit and it was convenient to all of my family. The area was very nice. It was easy to get around from this location. Great location for visiting family. Will be back!

Excellent customer service frim the front desk team to the beastro team. I keep coming back for the quality of the room, the convenience to my work and the starbucks cafe. Other hotels just dont cut it. Courtyard is the place to stay. Housekeeping was nice enough to straight up too!

We stayed here enroute to South Carolina after a 2 week exhausting marathon of packing, cleaning and getting our PA house on the market. We hadn’t eaten and were exhausted. We checked in, showered then went to the Bistro restaurant on site. There was one gentlemen sweeping the floor, then behind the counter who let us know dinner would start at 5pm. At 4:45 he called us up and took our order. He also was working the bar, the coffee, register and taking other orders at the register. He brought us our food which was truly delicious and of course, he made that too! We found out his name is Klever and this “one man show” was truly impressive. We can’t say enough the positive impact he made and to see that level of work ethic with no complaining while doing multiple full-time positions caught our attention and admiration. This man deserves a management position and duplicate himself through staff training because every hotel needs to be run the way this amazing man orchestrated all he did to perfection. Bravo Klever! We are full and off to bed for a 2am check out. You made a grueling day end as sweet as that delicious cookie and cheesecake dessert you told us would be yummy! Excellent job and 5 stars are not enough for this fantastic worker and kind, friendly person!

Friendly staff, helpful and pleasant. Room clean and fresh! Room was ready on time, check in was easy without any problems or issues. Felt safe and plenty of parking. Convent location. Although I was here to visit family there is plenty to do in the area.
