Have book for an overnight stay as attending a conference the following day. So have requested on my booking and also email directly the reservations of Mantra South Brisbane to request a quiet room and away from the lift. This was acknowledged by the reservations via email .
Day of check in, I even ask the reception after giving the key if the room assigned to me is quiet and away from elevator , and he state it is. But surprised upon reaching the floor, out the elevator , room is directly opposite. Had to go down the reception and request a change of room, and even told them I had requested this weeks ago. How disappointing that they disregard my request , waste of time contacting reservations after all.
Also then was informed by housekeeping staff when we have issue controlling the room temperature that it is under maintenance , so no way to control it at all.
So wasn’t happy with my stay , would think twice of booking this hotel again
