Hidden Beach Resort Au Naturel Adults Only Catamarán, Cenote & More Inclusive

Revisited this resort over 50 times, we are club members for the El Dorado resorts. The resort is really showing age and needs a facelift. The rooms need new furniture and better lighting. The water pressure comes and goes as does the hot water. The bed is comfy and the swim up is perfect for us. We enjoy the dining options and appreciate the menu changes daily for dinner to accommodate, reducing the need to go off property for dinner at the other restaurants, although if we want to go off, we can go to any restaurant on the three properties. Alma Alejandra Cen Dzib has made an amazing difference in the service and the food since coming to this resort. Both the day and night servers are excellent, Angel Duran, Noel, Arnulfo, Aniceto, Genesia, Gualdino, and Ricardo Are all 5 🌟star!! And I can’t leave out the top-notch bar service!! Pedro, Nathan and Esperanza you are the best!! The hotel Entertainment staff (Mike) needs to be revisited. The person in charge doesn’t really seem to understand the crowd and has made a lot of changes in the entertainment over the past few years. There are some amazing bands that should be playing in an area for us to dance and enjoy, but they are much too loud to listen to during dinner, e.g. the Cherry Lovers, everyone enjoys them but they are a dance band!! Not a dinner band. We love the gentleman that plays the guitar and that country/pop music. He would be excellent at dinner but he only plays at the poolside during the day. The Tenors are constantly changing singers and are very hit and miss for skill. And finally the best singer on any property on the Riviera Maya is Dana Kennedy and she is now gone! WTH? She can entertain at dinner perfectly or play in the bar and always gets everyone up dancing. She is absolutely AMAZING! Dana was the only successful entertainer for the New Year’s Eve party. The first performers were OK for socializing then Dana came and got everybody up and wild and dancing just as we should’ve been and then she was followed by some bizarre mime-like audiovisual show that was an absolute uninteresting downer while gearing up for midnight. Things have never been as good as when Aldo UG was in charge, and then Fernando followed and did well too. Now, not so much. The Pool entertainment staff is awesome. Thank you Fernanda and Carlos! You do a magnificent job with a wild crowd.

This was our 16th year going to this Hidden Piece of Paradise on the Mexican Riviera. The staff is great, the resort is beautiful and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Relax, have fun, get spoiled, meet new friends, and enjoy great entertainment.

I'm upset because the place is run down and looking ragged and run down. The staff is still wonderful. Ula is amazing and so is Eleasin. Our housekeeper, Ricardo are constant server, everyone, I can't mention every single person but every single staff is wonderful. My main concern is the no smoking in the outside air because Mexico thinks they own the air. You really need to put a small smoking area at the pool. It's not fair to cater only to non-smokers. Put a four chair or six chair area in the back against the wall and make it a smoking area. The smoking area you have is a joke, and if you don't know what's there, you don't know it exists. I'm a nonsmoker but this is for the smokers who came and specially for the one couple who was basically stuck on their patio smoking because no one would complain there. Management, please put a small smoking area at the pool. Also, I hope she gets her money that Karisma stole. It's not fair that the prices are so high and the guests are being punished with unaffordable prices because they stole money to do the repairs and upgrades.

It's the staff that makes the place and the other guests! No matter what time of year we go, we always see wonderful repeaters and super new faces. Our fav staff: Esperanza, Arnie, Anicieto, Noel, Ricardo, Angel, Nathaniel. Would love to see Alberto again, even if only to fill in for Nathaniel. The entertainment team Fernanda and Carlos (especially Fernanda) doing a good job. The guy that moves the pool chairs is an unsung hero... keeps the area very well set up and is quick to dismantle as needed. The food is good, not gourmet. The unsung chef/kitchen staff are Estephanie and the guy working the eggs in the morning (just can't remember his name right now)... so eager to please and great smile. The rooms need updating (been looking at the same floor tile cracks and furniture doors not closing properly for years). Room alcohol now bottom shelf, but bar alcohol still good. Some room amenities (q-tips, etc) have disappeared, no pillow/scent selection - not that it's a big deal, but still robes and slippers in the rooms. Rosa kept our room clean. Mini bar filling hit and miss. Lomas pickup at airport was a 25 min wait, but on time for resort to airport. Loved the Silent Party and Cherry Lovers... best 2 entertainment. Others were good. The 2 cheerleaders brought in for the staff/guest volleyball were great!!! Couldn't really get the Rock Band (and not just us because no one was dancing...played ok but music not in touch with what the audience age group wanted). Ula goes above and beyond to keep guests happy and address issues. And Ula and Eleasin were so committed to ensuring MAW went well. All is well overall... returning in 6 weeks!

Una estancia maravillosa, ¡nuestro hogar en México! Pasamos una estancia increíble en el Hidden, y sin duda, ¡volveremos! Este lugar se ha convertido en nuestra casa en México. Todo el equipo es excepcional: Aniseto, Ula, Pedro, Estrella, Jesús, Fernanda, Noe, Isaí, Ángel, Carlos, Ricardo y todos los demás siempre hacen que nuestra visita sea inolvidable. Nos hacen sentir como en familia cada vez que venimos, y estamos seguros de que seguiremos eligiendo este lugar para nuestras futuras visitas. ¡Gracias por hacer todo tan especial!

Amamos el lugar y en especial al personal que hacen de tu estancia muy especial. Muchas gracias a Fernanda, Esperanza,Pedro, Ángel,Nathaniel y en general todos. Lo que hay que mejorar son las recamaras y las instalaciones parece que se están cayendo. También la noche mexicana es muy muy mala.
