I called to book a room and was told that this was the same caliber hotel as the nearby Hilton, and on the same premises. Neither was true. When I pulled in, it was nowhere near the Hilton and was in a very secluded area. There were no cars in front, a few in the back. The garbage was overflowing and the grass was overgrown, covering the windows and entryway. The entire area was unkempt. There entryways had storm windows which were broken. There was food all over the ground, on several paper plates, as if they were feeding wildlife. It was way off the main road, dark and I felt extremely unsafe. I walked into the very dark and dingy lobby and a bored young woman was behind the desk. I told her I wouldn’t stay there as I felt unsafe and she just said “ok”. My son was with me and said he would never let me (or any woman) stay there alone. And there charging $180.00 per night! I advise you to stay ANYWHERE else…

A little outdated but overall pretty nice. The beds were really comfy, the staff was super nice. They have vending and ice machines and a microwave and mini fridge in the room. And complimentary breakfast which was great after a long fun night. Overall very good and comfortable experience

Very easy check-in with a pleasant receptionist. She gave me all the needed info for our stay…parking, breakfast time, etc. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was better than most freeBK offerings at other hotels. Any staff we passed in the hallways always said hello. Would gladly stay there again. The road sign directing you to the hotel was a bit small….almost missed the turn the first time we pulled in.

All the service hotels offer with smiles, morning breakfast, fitness machine room. Housekeepers on point with cleaning hospitality is excellent. All employees in this hotel are courteous including maintenance workers. I will be a return guest. I recommend you stay in sure stay of Smithfield RI.

Room was clean. Shower walls were not. Bed was comfortable . Somewhat dated . Staff friendly. Needs more housekeeping on staff . With some minor changes this place could be a great stay. Corporate needs to invest in some tasteful updates of this property.

The rooms were very extremely clean. I was impressed with the cleanliness of all the common areas. I always received a hello or a goodbye when I walked by the front desk. I felt that I was welcomed by everyone who worked there.

$258.00 for a room for one night , two guests, with a television that didn't work. Stairwells were dirty. No elevator to second floor. Room was as clean as it could be as of the age of the hotel. Parking was in back of hotel and felt a bit creepy. Lack of lighting.

There was a small issue with our room on the third night. We brought it up with management and they were apologetic, immediately got us a new room, and took steps to address the issue we had with our old one. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its conscientious and courteous staff.
