Great friendly hotel, beautiful views, 12 mins from the airport, and spotlessly clean. I think there are only 14 rooms which, added to the amazing family who run it, make for a lovely relaxing holiday. Nothing is too much trouble for Elena and Michael. The lunch and dinner menu is not extensive, but piping hot and tasty. There are more than enough padded sun beds around pool, which is clean and tidy always. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because, the water pressure isn’t great in the shower, and the beds were too firm for my particular taste, but the overall experience far outweighed those minor points. The hotel is on quite a steep hill, but ok to walk down to the town ( 10 mins stroll), and €10 in a cab back up. I can’t wait to return to this hotel, and will highly recommend it to friends.

Our 2nd time in Skiathos, our first stay at Blue Horizon Studios. A full 2 weeks of absolute bliss! An amazing family run accommodation who make you feel part of their family. Nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are a good size with a kitchen area, bathroom, wardrobes, double bed, dressing table. Plenty of sockets and lighting, and a good size balcony with clothes drier. The rooms are cleaned everyday, towels, bedding etc. The menu is quite small but everything is cooked perfect and all of the meals are really nice. Great selection of drinks at the bar. The dining area is really modern and very clean and inviting. The pool area has sun beds and again is really nice and clean with an amazing sea view and a good view over the town. There is a great view of the planes landing and taking off. It’s a 15 minute walk into town down the hill, once you’ve done the hill back you get used to it, but the views you get is well worth the walk. Absolute amazing place to stay and we are already looking at booking again!

We stayed here as a family of four (two teenage daughters). It’s a family run hotel and they cannot do enough for you - so friendly and helpful. The studios are clean and overlook the pool and have a fantastic view over the town. We met people who come here year after year which says a lot in itself. It’s only a 15 minute walk into the town or the beach. Supermarket about 10 minutes away. Overall it’s really relaxing - quiet days round the pool and sun loungers are always available. Yes there is a steep hill to walk up but worth it for the views from the hotel. A taxi back from town will cost 10 euros if you’d rather avoid the hill. The hotel does food if you fancied a night in. Great place to stay!

What a wonderful 9 days in sunny Skiathos staying at Blue Horizon Studios. Michael and his family are so lovely and look after your every need so naturally. It is so peaceful and the view takes your breath away. Lovely clean rooms, contemporary bar area with food available throughout the day which is reasonably priced and very fresh. Yes the hill is a bit of an issue but worth the climb when you get there. No hesitation in going back.

We decided to take 3 weeksin Skiathos as my wife was 60 on 5th Sept. We stayed in Blue Horizon Apts. Very nice location with fab views, very quiet and relaxing which is required after the dreaded hill ! Having said that Im 66 and we managed ok. Michael and his family are really nice people who are always on hand if you have an issue. The apartments although clean could be kitted out a bit better if you are doing your own breakfast or lunch. Tbe TV does not have Sky news or BBC World service ( thats just me ). Its all Greek. The beds are comfy and the apts are cleaned daily by a very nice lady. The bar area is very good and that was a god send on the 5th Sept when Storm Daniel raged over the island, we all partied for my wifes 60th. The pool is good but not good for kids more for adults with really comfy subeds always available. Food is really nice at the bar and the breakfasts looked good even though I didnt partake. All in all I wouldnt hesitate in going back.

I really can’t praise this place enough. Beautiful position overlooking Skiathos Town; what a view!!! Spotlessly clean, lovely pool and sunbathing area. The food was great and the bar and dining room was bright and airy. Our studio was so comfortable and the air conditioning worked like a dream. Very comfortable beds and a good size balcony. They were cleaned every day. The people that worked there were just so lovely, very friendly. I’d highly recommend this as a great base to explore the beauty of Skiathos and a lovely place to relax and chill out.
