Manami Resort

We visited the resort for both business and leisure and had the best time there! Place was great for relaxing, food was really really good, but the staff was THE BEST! Special mention to the girls from the front office: Patricia, Angel and Fritzel. They were very friendly, accommodating, and very efficient. Neil's service was also very good - he was very warm, accommodating and again very efficient!! Definitely a 5 STAR for for everything - especially for SERVICE!!!

I was invited by Honda Philippines as a VIP to attend their Honda Big Bike trip from Dumaguete City to have lunch at this wonderful resort. We had a fantastic buffet for lunch and watched various presentations in a large spacious and bright room, which benefited from excellent air conditioning. The service was also excellent. I would come back here again.

Manami Resort? More like Manami Home—because that’s exactly what it felt like! Every moment here was a dream I didn’t want to wake up from. A huge shoutout to Sir Danilo, whose cave tour was as fun as it was fascinating. His lighthearted vibe made the adventure even better (and his “stay safe” send-off? Too cute!). To Sir Mon and the amazing chef, the food? Perfection. Every bite felt like a warm hug. FO April and Pat, your hospitality made everything seamless, and Sir Anthony & the Housekeeping Team, our room was spotless and soothing—thank you! And to the boat tour team, you guys made the ocean feel even more magical. I didn’t just visit Manami—I felt it. Leaving was the hardest part, but hey, maybe fate will bring me back. Until then. 🥹🤗

Having explored many of the popular destinations in the Philippines, we were eager to escape the crowds and discover a more peaceful, secluded spot to unwind. Manami Resort is honestly the perfect place if you’re looking to relax, reconnect with nature, and just experience top-notch service. From the second we got there, it felt like we’d found this hidden gem. And as a sweet little touch, they gave us these cute seashell charm bracelets and artisan-made tote bags upon arrival, then you are treated to a complimentary 10 minute massage —it really made us feel at home. The resort's beach was stunning, the white sand stretches out to meet clear, calm, and delightfully warm water. There is a coral nursery where you can spot giant clams, tropical fish and a octopus if your lucky. Our favourite part of the day was sunset happy hour, we worked our way through their selection - the Frozen Mango Mojito was a hit. One thing we really appreciated was that kayaking and snorkelling were included at no extra cost. Spending hours on the water, paddling around and exploring the gorgeous marine life, was an absolute highlight. Speaking of which, we also booked a Fun Dive to a nearby wreck, and it did not disappoint. The wreck, which had sunk on its side, had become a haven for marine life, and the experience was both fascinating and thrilling. Our dive instructor, Mabel, was amazing – she made us feel completely safe while still keeping the adventure exciting. We saw angel fish, bat fish, and various other critters, and since the dive site is relatively new, the fish were incredibly calm and curious. It was also fantastic to learn that the resort has an in-house marine biologist who advises on how to protect and conserve the local marine life and ecosystems. The service at Manami Resort is second to none. Giro, the general manager, made it a point to check in with us during breakfast, offering local Filipino dish recommendations and suggesting activities like cave spelunking in their own Bat Cave. The staff were also incredibly attentive, always there with cold towels and refreshing ice water after a swim. You really feel like every detail has been thought of, and it's clear they genuinely care about your experience. The Linong spa was the pinnacle of relaxation, the signature massage put us on another level of relaxation. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the welcome drink, to the chosing of massage oils to the post massage wine down tea. Lastly, there’s a fun little surprise – the local peacocks! These beautiful birds roam freely around the resort, and they’ll definitely stop you in your tracks with their charm. It's a quirky touch that adds to the overall magic of the place. All in all, Manami Resort is one of those rare places that truly delivers on all fronts – stunning location, outstanding service, fantastic activities, and top-notch food. The resort is widely recognized among the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, attaining a World Luxury Hotel Award in 2024 for its architectural design, luxury boutique, and ocean view. This speaks greatly of how uniquely designed and culturally detailed the resort's building structure and souvenirs are. I'd like to share a brief overview of my "Manami" experience. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a cold towel, a shell bracelet, and sugar cane juice. The staff were professional and accommodating. Proceeding to their dining area, I was stunned by the mesmerizing view of the pool. The ambiance calmed my anxious mind. By the time the food was all set and ready, I couldn’t help but crave more! After lunch, we went to our designated rooms. We were given a creatively handcrafted Filipino-styled card that caught my attention. I enjoyed cuddling on the bunk bed. I specifically loved the bathroom. 😍 The terrace's breathtaking view took me down memory lane to a time when everything felt stress-free. Exploring the Beauty of Sipalay We went island hopping, where we tried snorkeling for an undersea experience and had a festive lunch on the lancha. The tour guide did a great job explaining the rich history of each island in Sipalay. Before heading back to the resort, we were sprayed with an Evian mist to release our stress; it was matched with a cold towel for refreshment after hours of swimming under the heat of the sun. Back at the resort, I tried kayaking, which I fancied several times during the trip. It was an amazing experience. Commodities and Accommodations We Adored Throughout our two nights at the resort, the bat cave thrilled us all. The golf cart ride was nice, and we got the chance to see the helipad that highlighted the stunning view of Sipalay. Last but not least—how could I forget?! The Linong Spa! Tranquility at its finest! The massage was damn excellent!😭🫶 I want to experience it repeatedly. Manami Resort is not just a tourist destination; it also provides plenty of opportunities for the locals of Sipalay, which made me appreciate it even more. My family and I had a wonderful time at Manami Resort. I will surely recommend this place to everyone I know!

One thing I like in Manami the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They provide service to take care of my 92 year old Mom by the time we’re having fun @ the beach. Good beach and sea view from rooms. I love collecting the starfish…Service was fast for any request in our room and staff were well supportive and polite. Food taste was awesome especially the kinilaw. Linong spa was so relaxing.
