Clean rooms, good breakfast, great parking and easy to get too

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating as we arrived much later than expected. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again when in the area. The location is perfect and very scenic.

I have never given 5 stars to any Holiday Inn Express Hotel EVER. From the time we arrived to the time we left everything was excellent . Due to an unexpected additional 2 hour drive to our already 12 hours from Texas we were exhausted ! We arrived late and I was so tired I could barely hold my eyes open . The lady who checked us in was patient and understanding. Our room was perfect . Very clean . The bed was very comfortable . The next morning we went down for breakfast and not only THIS was the best variety of breakfast foods, but everything was cooked to perfection. The breakfast area was very clean and organized. I talked to the employee working the breakfast area, an older sweet lady named Sonya . She was just wonderful. Later when we checked out I asked the young lady at the front desk if this was a fairly new Hotel and she told me “ no, but they renovated about 6 years ago . I was shocked . This Hotel is well cared for and I do not know who the owner is but want to say “ KUDOS to you for reinvesting into your Hotel . This is something many owners fail to do . Seriously the BEST H.I.E ever and we travel constantly and have stayed in many. Also, this young lady was very polite and friendly and the most beautiful smile . Keep up the good work Team H. I. Great place with a mountain view. Very clean and quiet with free coffee and water. Just off a main road,so it was nice and easy to find. Front desk was very nice and friendly with check in and out. Beautiful area to vacation in and the hotel was right in the center of it all.

First, I have to mention the nightlight built into the bathroom mirror here. This feature is ingenious, and every hotel should install them. Despite staying at more than two hundred hotels all over the country and the world, I've seen this only twice elsewhere. And one of my pet peeves at hotels is no nightlight, because I'm either blinded by the bathroom light if I get up to use the facilities in the middle of the night, or I grope around in the dark in an unfamiliar room. Kudos to management for some intelligent, thoughtful planning in consideration of your guests. Check-in at dusk was fast and efficient, and we were assigned a room on the top floor, away from the elevators as requested, to facilitate a quiet stay. The view of the mountains from our room greatly enhanced our visit. Features I love about this hotel include: Wall-mounted toiletries dispensers - very eco friendly. Keurig coffee maker Extra spacious king room with a divan-style sofa in a cozy seating area Lots of counter space in the room and in the bathroom Tons of lighting, including lamps and wall sconces Fast wi-fi and plentiful electrical outlets for charging gadgets Necessary amenities - microwave, mini-refridge, iron/board, hair dryer, etc. Full size tub and phenomenal water pressure Ultra-comfy bed, as always in IHG brand hotels. Pillow choices, firm or soft Blackout blinds The outdoor pool/hot tub area is gorgeous, with an adjacent large patio where guests were congregating. I didn't notice if there was a gym on site. Complimentary breakfast is served from 6-9:30. Although we're organic eaters and mostly vegetarian, we checked to see if there was anything we consider edible. Fresh bananas and apples were offered. Hubby also found a veggie-eggwhite omelet (highly unusual), and I had a boiled egg. Otherwise, the menu was typical - breads, cereals, dairy, instant oatmeal, instant waffles, processed bakery items, pork, etc. But we don't expect better in this regard during our hotel stays. This overnight visit was near perfection. We did hear a smidge of hallway noise, but nothing woke us during the night. Oh, and one of the window panes in our room was defective with a permanent fog. Repair the window, maybe add a recycle bin, and add raw sugar to the in-room coffee service . . . there would be nothing left to improve. We'd definitely stay here again.

Absolutely the place to stay in Sierra Vista - check in was quick the rooms were extremely clean & up to date. The staff was courteous easy to talk to. We booked 2 rooms for a family of 6 each room was spacious were similar and spacious to fill our needs. The patio area was clean well lit and larger then most chains The pool was outdoors well kept The hot breakfast was tasty and plentiful with multiple choices for kids as well as adults Their are many hotels in the area that are less expensive but for the money this is the right choice

We enjoy opportunities to stay over many lodgings across and occasionally outside the U.S.A., by no means a professional hotel reviewer, and not a business traveler - but as a pleasure and needs wanderer. Over time, I’ve concocted my own concise scoring method for the particular hotels visited. My measures were as follows: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score: 4.0]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score:4.0]; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score:4.5]; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas and access to an office center and Wi-Fi access [Score: 3.5]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score: 4.0]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score: 4.0]. Taking the aforementioned categories in a scale of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This hotel rates a: 4.0. Most positive point(s) at this hotel is/are: in and out access and closeness to locations desired to visit. And polite and courteous staff! Excellent location to stop while in town, especially when visiting the vast array of Wineries in the area.

Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience at this hotel. Our bathroom sink wasn't draining, the water was cold more often than warm for showers, the in-room safe wasn't working, and housekeeping wasn't available to clean our room upon request. Although we reached out to management multiple times to discuss the unsatisfactory service, they never responded. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend staying at this hotel. There are plenty of other properties in the area that work hard to earn your business, so choose wisely.

Super clean hotel, pleasant and efficient staff. Platinum status recognised with an upgrade. A top notch HIE. Sierra Vista was a little way out of our intended route but alternatives on our route were not very appealing. It was worth the detour.
