Everything about our stay at the Belmont was great. Food, staff, service, room and location. Even had a card sent up to the room from the manager on behalf of the staff wishing me a happy 70th birthday. Loved the fact that the preferred male dress code for dinner was jacket and tie - please keep that going.

What an exceptional place to come for lunch , ours was a three course meal , bought for us from our aunty for a Christmas gift . The service excelllent the food amazing , this is the third year our aunty has bought us here and we love it . sadly it was a raining day so no lovely sea view photos today , but in this occasion they were renovating so we had to use a side door into the hotel , still had the doorman . we ate in a different room the main resteraunt and it was brilliant very posh . Thank you so much for a lovely visit , we will be back .

We enjoyed a lovely few days in Sidmouth staying in the Belmont. Our room was clean and well cared for. We were able to use the leisure facilities at the neighbouring Victoria hotel and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and generous evening meals. Even though the weather was cold the hotel was an oasis of warmth!

This hotel is now adults only. We stayed for two nights, dinner bed and breakfast, which worked out quite expensive. My brother and sister were there at the same time but were booked for four nights on a winter saver which was excellent value for money. The accommodation and food were excellent. There were always plenty of staff on hand to help with anything. We have stayed in most of the hotels in Sidmouth and the Belmont is now our favourite.

The Belmont is a very well cared for hotel in Sidmouth. The interior decor has been very tastefully decorated - the dining room in particular is lovely. This was enhanced by the colourful, tasteful Christmas decorations. We booked a standard double room and it was lovely - very clean with excellent shower facilities. The service throughout the hotel was first class with staff working hard to ensure the new year celebrations were enjoyed by all. The food was delicious - dinner was an absolute treat as was breakfast.
