Schlechtes gelagert, harte Handtücher, müde Zimmer, seltsames Bild im Zimmer hängen, harte Bett, Gliedmaßen fallen, Frühstück arme, 15 Minuten für gepuckte Eier, Karte für Tür funktionierte nicht, Der Parkausgang wurde 20 Minuten mit Linen-Lastwagen blockiert - wird nicht zurückkehren oder empfehlen !!

Location is good! Near Sheffield City Center. Shower water was so small, that’s the only thing I need to mention. Everything was perfect. Room is really big.

Robin, on the reception desk, was very professional and friendly and gave me a very warm welcome and a great first impression. The hotel, being directly attached to the Winter Garden, has a great central location and is less than ten minutes by foot to the train station (which is all wheelchair and suitcase accessible). All the breakfast staff were also attentive and helpful even early in the morning.

The hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms are fairly basic but better than many other hotels in the UK (although that isn't saying much). The building itself is rather nice. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the hotel itself feels safe and pleasant. However, the rooms are small, in particular, the showers are small... I have friends who would genuinely be unable to squeeze through the small door to enter the shower cubicle.

Das Rutland Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Universität Sheffield. Eine Zimmer sind nicht das beste, aber Doppelzimmer sind ziemlich schön mit einem traditionellen Gefühl. Allerdings sind beide Zimmer neu eingerichtet, so dass die Zimmer und Badezimmer ziemlich schön sind. Das Frühstück ist gut, wie sie bereit sind, um Eier, Hasenbraunen, Pilze und Tomaten zu bestellen. Insgesamt mag ich es und werde planen, wieder zu bleiben.

The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful as far as they could be. On the first day of our stay ( Christmas Day) there were parties going on and we had to go up several flights of stairs to get to the breakfast buffet. Everything was a little hard to find but the food was good when available. The ample grounds were an additional attraction as were the huge trees in the spacious garden. On Christmas Day there were lots of staff looking after the various parties.On the last day, however, ther was only one poor unfortunate waiter in attendance! He did his best but it was impossible for him to keep the buffet food items fully refreshed. He had to do this as well as clearing plates etc from tables. We thought that the lack of any other waiting staff was due to the unavailability of staff from the European Union. The bedroom facilities needed repairs which were unattended to. In particular, the control knob of the central heating radiator had fallen off and could not be replaced. The radiator was on night and day and also made an irritating noise through most of the night. We stayed three nights in the hotel from 24th to 27th December 2023. IN summary, we thought that the hotel could be restored to it's original splendour but would need a substantial investment to improve its standard. The once magnificent hotel seemed sadly neglected because of lack of investment. Otherwise the room was satisfactory. But sleep was difficult until we got more used to the noise at night. In summary, we thought that the hotel needed a lot of money spending on it to improve the facilities and make dure there were enough staff.

Sehr komfortabel Aufenthalt, unspottlich sauber und ein sehr komfortabeles Bett. Badekleider sind ein schöner Kontakt. Tee, Kaffee, frische Milch und Kuchen, die Sie von den Stationen auf jedem Korridor erhöhen können. Frühstück war sehr gut.

Es war nicht viel für den Service mit einem Nachtaufenthalt, aber es sah aus, als ob es notwendig war, es war da. Die Lage war OK, wenn die Kanalseitenbaren durch die Rückseite der Lobby zugänglich waren, aber es war geschlossen, so musste ein 2min zu Fuß in einen 10min zu Fuß, aber nicht das Ende der Welt. Es gab Haare im Bad und ein paar Schmutz in der Ecke des Zimmers, aber anders als das war alles in Ordnung. Liebe, sie hatten ein Eisen und Eisenbrett, aber der Deckel war ein wenig grotte. Insgesamt würde ich wieder bleiben.

Wir wurden Schlüssel ausgegeben, die die Tür nicht geöffnet, zwingen uns, unseren Weg zurück zum Vorsitz zu machen. Unser Zimmer, übrigens war letzten auf einem langen Korridor auf der oberen Ecke eines erweiterten Flügels, wenn Sie das Bild machen können. Wir reservierten (und bezahlten) ein Zimmer für drei, aber nach dem Eintritt war das zusätzliche Bett nicht ausgefertigt. Versuchte, jede Nummer auf dem Haustelefon zu rufen, aber niemand wurde antwortet, was bedeutete, dass noch einen langen Spaziergang zum Vorortbüro, wieder. Als wir die Drinnung in der Dusche fanden, schloss ich mich nicht an, mich zu beschweren, um weitere Enttäuschung zu vermeiden, aber ich tat es trotzdem und wahr genug - nichts wurde getan. Ich muss zugeben, dass das Hotel eine der weitesten Auswahl an Tee und Kaffee (und Schokoladegetränken) in einem Hotelzimmer gesehen hatte. Ich schätze den Kaffee, aber leider wurde die Restockung nur einmal während unseres 4-Nacht- Aufenthalts durchgeführt. Ich frage mich, ob das erwartet werden sollte. Double Tree ist eine respektable Marke (zumindest in meinem Teil der Welt) aber ich verstehe nicht, was mit diesem so falsch gewesen wäre.

Großes Personal in diesem Hotel, gab mir sogar ein Lenkrad für meinen Range Rover, als sie sagten, es ist hohe Priorität auf der Schlagliste, Zimmer sind sehr sauber und komfortabel, Abendessen war lecker, perfekte Lage
