Quality Inn & Suites Chambersburg

Check in was easy the front desk staff very friendly and accommodating, room was a smoking room and it was very clean bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was great. i was happy they have a pool i really enjoyed it, the lobby was nice and clean and spacious over all i had a great stay got to visit some old friends in Chambersburg who I haven't seen in a long time i definitely will be stay there every time I'm in the area the property owners have done a great job with the hotel keep up the good work

You get what you pay for I guess. The staff is super friendly. The hotel needs some love. The carpets are dirty. The pool is freezing and the bathtub/shower...looks like they painted it and the paint is peeling off. Breakfast wasn't the greatest. We only ate there the first morning of our 2 night stay.

Two senior ladies travelling (driving) thousands of miles. Drove 12 hours. Checked in at dark. Great bedding and pillows. No hair dryer. Requested one at front desk - was told they don’t have any. No hangers in closet. No tissues. Only one face cloth & one hand towel in room. Asked for another at desk - was told I could get one in the morning. Calmly stated we both would like to wash our face ‘tonight’. Desk agent directed me to follow him - he opened a guest room and brought out a hand towel & bath towel - stated “no face cloth, you can use the end of towel”. No coffee maker or accompanying items. No liner bag or lid for ice bucket. No toilet paper holder - roll was perched on the edge of the bathtub. Showering was difficult as the head was angled to the side wall and positioned too high up to reach for adjustment. I have stayed at MANY Econolodge hotels in past travels which were acceptable. This location is NOT. We were much too tired to seek out alternate lodging. Thank goodness the beds were comfortable.

This choice hotel is very convenient to Route 81 and to restaurants in Chambersburg . The front desk staff (who have been there for some time) know what they were doing but I would suggest that they try to make guests feel welcome when they arrive. My biggest complaint is that breakfast doesn't open until 7. The lobby had over a dozen people waiting for the doors to open in the breakfast room. Although it is convenient for their breakfast staff person. Iit is not for guests waiting to get on with their day.

The room had the most disgusting shower I have ever seen (see photos) the floor was sticky in the room. The front desk person seemed less than happy to have to bother to check us in. The breakfast was awful. The stairwell reeked of urine. It was a dreadful place to stay.

Bed bugs!! We arrived at 9 p.m. and checked out at midnight as soon as we realized getting bitten and found 2 bed bugs on the sheets!! The desk clerk just said, "oh, ok". No apology. No offer of refund. We should have left at check-in when another guest was at the desk who had also just checked in and said their bathroom sink was clogged and a dirty toilet seat.

Thank you for the walk in/out shower! Very clean. Great rooms, comfortable beds. People at the counter very helpful. If it needed one thing, it would be better breakfast. Very small yogurt, no fruit. Miss my bananas.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Arrived with family, we had three rooms. Appreciated they put my 92 year old father in a room next to me. Need to ask if they have a tub chair for him next time. He said it was too hard to get in the tub. Really consider this location Scotland, PA. : ) which is why I selected it!

My family including 7 adults and 3 children stayed at this property overnight twice, a week in part in early-mid June, during a family vacation to upstate New York. Prior to the stay, I made our reservations with Audra and she helped me greatly. She also checked me and my family in during the first overnight stay and was friendly and efficient at checkin. During the first overnight stay, I noticed that the sheets had a number of crumbs on one our our beds and the bathtub looked older and badly stained in our upper floor room. I called the desk and Audra said that although the housekeeper had finished for the day she would ask her to return and take care of the issues!! I greatly appreciated this! Although it was clear the housekeeper had re-cleaned the bathtub, it still didn’t look much different, which leads me to believe it was less a housekeeping and more a maintenance problem - the bathtubs are old and need replaced. My wife and son and I had a great sleep as did my other family members staying in other rooms and the breakfast in the morning was a good, complimentary hot buffet style breakfast. The breakfast attendant, who we found out was our housekeeper from the night before, was super friendly and on top of her game ensuring that the area remained cleaned and stocked up! She is a star for sure! My wife, my son and I also had a good stay the second time our family stayed a week later. This time we stayed on the ground floor. The bathtub looked stained in this one too and reinforced my belief about the maintenance issue - please replace the bathtubs. There were no bed linen issues this time though and we had a good night’s rest. Breakfast in the morning also set us up well for the long day ahead of travel! Another issue, that I noticed at the time, was the cracked tiles in the hotel’s only elevator. This dilapidated nature of the elevator flooring is unsafe and the tiles need replacing. Overall, despite being slightly outdated, this hotel is worth recommending for an overnight stay. Breakfast is good, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Some elements like the bathtubs and elevator need replacing and maintenance work to be carried out.
