"I’ll start with the good— Margherita. What a wonderful person and host. She went out of her way to help us with the issues we encountered and was just so kind and warm. I feel badly to say anything negative because she was so helpful, but these points are important to share. This hotel shouldn’t have a four star rating. It is very basic. Our room was quite run down, very small, worn furniture, dark bathroom with a very weird shower. But— The biggest issue is the parking. There simply isn’t any. The nearby lot is always full, and the street parking is impossible. I’d suggest not booking here if you are driving. The location is good for restaurants and access to town. And breakfast was good."

"Very relaxing quirky designer hotel upgraded within a week preserved nineteenth century shell. Loved it for its quirks as shown in the hotel pictures. It grows on you. We loved it. Great location and Donnalucata is real off the beaten track Sicily with lovely beaches and plenty of local eateries in the vicinity of the hotel. Santo and his staff could not have been more charming or helpful in every way. Nice pool and private off road parking. Great value and lovely holiday chill experience on our 14 day touring adventure of Sicily."

"Es war mein erster Aufenthalt in Sizilien und dieses Hotel war ideal! Sehr sauber, freundliches Personal und insgesamt einfach ein wunderschöner Ort. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten. Der einzige Nachteil ist, wie weit die Villen vom Restaurant entfernt sind, also muss man ein bisschen zu Fuß zu den Haupteinrichtungen gehen. Es gibt Shuttle-Autos, was fantastisch ist, aber wir fanden, dass sie nicht so häufig fuhren."

"B&B Scicli is a lovely place to stay; situated up a typical Sicilian stone staircase street, (there are quite a few steps to get there!), but host Massimo will be there to meet you and carry your bags up the stairs! The apartments are tucked away in a pretty courtyard, full of plants and flowers, and are spotlessly clean and comfortably appointed. From the top of the staircase, there is a tantalising glimpse of Scicli, looking out over picturesque rooftops. But the best bit about B&B Scicli is Massimo, who could not be a friendlier or more obliging host. He is always contactable to answer questions, provide information or sort out any problem. Massimo goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, recommending restaurants, the best beaches and how to get there, and all the things you must see and do on your visit to Scicli. Thanks to Massimo, we have returned to Scicli many times and consider it a second home!"
