Hotel la Sorgente

This hotel was slightly dated like most in Italy but was spotlessly clean. Very little noise from other rooms (only suitcases being move when people were arriving / leaving) . Never a problem getting a sun bed by the pool and the lifeguards always went out of their way to moves beds, get you a towel etc. Very chilled/ relaxing, although i don't think the hotel was busy. The swimming pool was lovely and a dip in the sea when it wasn't too rough. Was nice to sit outside at breakfast although the breakfast wasn't great. Had lunch at the hotel once. Portions were too big at lunch, would be nice to have sandwich options. Although helpful, we did find the staff a bit miserable. Maybe as it was the end of the season, they'd had enough! If you don't have a car, there is not a lot to do if the weather isn't great. There is a nice walk to the nearby Lido's but the path ends and I didn't fancy walking on the busy road. The town is small with lots of fish restaurants. Only 2 bars (unlike other places in Italy, the restaurants don't let you just have a drink which was odd when they weren't busy...). Everything closes for siesta. We did discover you can but a bottle of wine at the minimarket and they will give you glasses and an ice bucket and you sit outside. Great idea to watch the world go buy and mingle with the locals. We found the food and drink in the town to be good value for money. if you get bored of eating fish, you must try the Braceria in town. You pick your meat and they show you to a table. Food was lovely and soooo cheap. even a litre of wine for 8 euros, and it tasted good! We went twice during a 6 night stay.

I stayed at this amazing hotel for a few nights and the facilities there were second to none, The staff were bright cheerful and nothing was too much trouble for them to help.The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and the waiter service was just excellent. The two rooms I stayed in were comfortable spacious and the most important thing the cleanliness of them were as if they had never been used. The outdoor pool and surrounding exterior areas were kept clean all the time, the pool was immaculately clean and the sea was but a step away if you preferred a dip in the coital clear waters of the Adriatic. I can honestly say that I will definitely visit this hotel again whether it be social or work, it is sited next to the sea and resting at night is very peaceful even with balcony doors open. So if you are in this area, Savelletri in Fasano is worth a visit, you will experience a wonderful stay and particularly at The Hotel Sorgente.

The hotel was absolutely great! We had the most relaxing 8 days. The staff are helpful and polite, the rooms were clean and always refreshed every day. The fishing village of Savelletri was beautiful, great restaurants and 5 mins away from the hotel. Would recommend this lovely hotel 45 mins from Bari Airport.

Early season so very quiet. Pool had no water in it so out of use . Hotel was near empty but we were told to be quiet at 11 pm as other guests were sleeping . We were on the ground floor at the time , all rooms were first floor and above , I think the reception didn’t want to hear us having a good time . A bit disappointed

Food is superb , typical buffet breakfast , a la cart meals were excellent too. Rooms are clean , modern and have air con which does take a while to cool the room down so leave on 24/7 . Two room types are rear road view and pool/sea view so obviously ask for a sea view .Hotel is in a quiet location 5 min walk from village center. Car hire is available from reception with free car parking. Pool area is also quiet ,very clean and there is a waiter pool service too. If you change the pool towels there is a small charge. Staff are all very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. We would definitely stay there again. The local village is a typical fishing village with no tourist shops and the restaurants selling fish mainly so little selection for vegetarians etc. It has 4 small mini marts/shops ,plenty of coffee/food cafe,s too. Car hire is required unless you are happy to get a bus to the train station to go sight seeing. We would use this hotel again if we went back to this area of Italy.

What an amazing hotel. Was hesitant to book it due to the distance from Bari. But what a great choice. The staff is very friendly and try to do their best to provide excellent service. The hotel is very clean and cozy. Beautiful pool and territory.
