Gower Hotel

We spent 6 nights at this lovely hotel. Had an issue with parking on arrival, due to another guests inconsideration. The staff were extremely helpful and helped with suggestions as to where might be available nearby ... A little inconvenient but quickly remedied and we had no other issues. Every member of staff was very pleasant, kind and courteous. The lady who was cleaning the rooms provided extra tea, milk and biscuits without any queries and changed our cups on request. It is made very clear that if you want your room serviced, you only need ask. During our 6 night stay our breakfast every morning was freshly cooked and lovely! We had 2 evening meals in the restaurant and these were both really lovely and a good price. Nothing, during our stay, was any trouble for anyone. Great location in the middle of Saundersfoot. Easy walking distance to the beach, and across the road from the bus stop to Tenby. Lift to all floors, parking at the rear. Cleaning could be much better. If you want your room serviced, you have to put a chalkboard outside the door, this was not mentioned at check-in, but there is a notice in reception - if you look for it! You also have to order breakfast the day before! No fresh fruit or choice of yogurt at breakfast. Get your own tea and coffee. Restaurant closed for dinner as no bookings, but no obvious menu available! All a little tired and Fawlty Towers like!

This is a super hotel. The staff could not have been any more helpful. We travelled as a family group with children and grandparents. They provided everything we asked for and they met all our needs. Every staff member was so helpful. The restaurant food was lovely. Much better than we expected it to be. Would highly recommend. Very good price as well. The rooms are very clean and recently renovated. Lots of car parking. Thankyou to all the wonderful staff

The Gower hotel is a relaxed, clean and comfortable hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the situation is very convenient. The restaurant serves a delicious dinner and breakfast. Service was always with a smile. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others

Nice frontal & position. Double front facing room was small with a 4ft 6 double bed. Basic & Comfortable. Looks like owners are trying to gradually update. Breakfast room was maiden & airy food on offer was very nice. Staff were helpful - apart from lady serving breakfast !!!! Busy bar on Saturday night. No food on offer sadly.

Dreadful rude & unhelpful staff ruined the whole experience, hated it from start to finish cant say just how much this booking upset me endless calls about booking in, rude on the phone when i asked them to stop probably given the worst room in the place

stayed in the Gower many times before, always a warm welcome, staff are very friendly and helpful, lovely bar with log fire in colder weather, good breakfast choice and great location, l can and do recommend this hotel to my friends who also love the place

A very friendly hotel - the staff were welcoming when we arrived a little early, quick check in and directed us to the car park round the back. Room was very small but adequate for our one night stay The Bar was fabulous with lots of locals and caravan owners. Great central location near to the front, shops and restaurants Breakfast was absolutely delicious

11/09/23-14/09/23 We stayed in room 32 which is a smaller room but ok for two on a short trip. This room is painted grey and it's not working makes the room feel small. The location of the hotel is very good just off the seafront and it has a small car park which is handy but you can't book a slot, first come first served but there is a public car park just down the road. Staff are friendly and the hotel is clean. There are some areas that need work and redecorating but I am sure they are planning it. I would stay here again.
