The hotel atmosphere was excellent, decor was a refreshing change, having an oriental theme. The outstanding feature was the quality of the staff! So welcoming, friendly and happy, it was infectious. Our room, the luxury Chinese Room was spacious and delightful. We ate in Lokky's Restaurant and had a fabulous meal and evening which again was enhanced by the friendly attentive staff. RJ and his team did us proud including our Anniversary table decor and MiJoy was very entertaining and amusing. We will return.

Excellent and easily found location on the A477 at Wooden. Light and airy room with very comfortable king sized bed with duvet cover and fluffy pillows. Good sized bathroom with combined shower. Excellent freshly cooked to order breakfast with plenty of toast and beverages. Well stocked continental breakfast too. The staff were extremely attentive and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back next year!

The warmest welcome from any hotel since I can remember. Sue the GM gave a great tour of the hotel and restaurant before I settled in. The room was impeccably clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and topped off with a very warm farewell. Thank you! Highly recommend.

The imperial Dragon deserves the highest praise . From the minute we arrived to the moment we checked out was one of the best stays we have experienced. The rooms here are top notch. Spacious , spotlessly clean and well equipped. The staff and the food are equally as good as it can get. The breakfast menu was varied and the food was good quality and well prepared. The food in Lockeys looked fabulous, but as we actually fancied a chineese we ate at the sister restaurant the Dragon Palace restaurant a bout 3/4 mile down the road. Suffice to say the walk was well worth it! Such fantastic hospitality and service are a rare item these days.

This is a lovely hotel with attentive, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed on a Travelzoo deal in a deluxe room on the top floor. The room was large, warm and comfortable with a great bed; big and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with an over bath shower. There’s plenty of room for a large walk in shower when the next upgrade is done. The breakfast menu is extensive and the food delicious and freshly cooked. I would have liked some natural yogurt and fresh fruit salad or compote but only whole fruit and flavoured yogurts are available. We ate at the Dragon Palace restaurant a mile down the road. The meal was fine and service good, but nothing special. It was busy and is obviously popular.

Nice hotel, oriental feel but still Welsh. Big room and bathroom and all very comfortable. There are (4) new 7kW EV chargers there at a good rate per kWh so happy days. Staff are all lovely. Wi-fi was a bit iffy now and then but not annoyingly so. The restaurant was good quality and service. We would use this hotel again. Straight 5 minutes drive to Tenby or less, but more twisty, to Saundersfoot. Both had huge, very clean, very sandy beaches which were impressive.

Me, my wife, and two dogs had a lovely nights stay, the dogs even had their own sausages cooked for them at dinner and breakfast. Our waitress, Joy, for both meals was excellent, nothing to much trouble and all done with a big smile. Would go back anytime.

Good points: Staff lovely, and want to please. Good parking. Fab superking size bed. Prior to arrival: I needed a king-size bed, didn't need to be ground floor, but would prefer walk in shower as eight years ago had a hip replacement. I also said it was a surprise for my husband so no phone calls, however had a call the day before and my husband saw the name on my phone and it blew the surprise. Not so good: While the decor on reception and the pricy restaurant is lovely, the room we had was a let down. Room 7, which was shower over bath, desperately needs a lick of paint, it was drap and soulless. There were lovely room photos online so I felt overcharged for what we got. Breakfast: Only yoghurts left were toffee, and no information on where the food came from, locally or free range eggs etc. Just felt a bit cheap and Travel Lodge experience overall.

A beautiful hotel and a very warm welcome from the friendliest and helpful of staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we particularly appreciated the outstanding recommendations for our days out. As it was our first visit to the area we appreciated the printed maps and the advice was absolutely spot on. The breakfast set us up perfectly for our long coastal walks and again the staff were so attentive and thoughtful. The beds were comfortable and the room was well stocked with everything g we needed. Everything was excellent. Locky’s , the adjoining restaurant served delicious food and has a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful 4 night break
