Beautiful boutique hotel in Sintra with helpful, friendly staff. Rooms weren’t huge, but there was enough space with closet and the bathroom was good sized. Breakfast was included and very good. Location was close to plenty of restaurants and the town center.

We stayed at the Villa Bela Vista on May 8, 2024 in Sintra, Portugal. Our room was the Palácio de Monserrate at the end of the 1st floor. This hotel was incredible! We were in Sintra to see the Pena Palace and Moorish Castle – location was perfect. It had real wood floors, and marble in the hallways and bathroom. Heated floors in the bathroom were a really nice touch. Beautiful views from the window. Looks either recently renovated or just in immaculate shape. Centrally located. Beds weee very comfortable. Nice Breakfast. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Would highly recommend!!

Very nice, clean updated property. Our room was very comfortable.Nice breakfast, fruit, cereal, eggs, breads, delicious fresh squeezed orange juice. Great views into town. Easy walk to town center area, but yes the front door opens right onto a busy, narrow street. One suggestion-if calling an Uber or Taxi, factor in extra time for it to get up the busy street to the hotel. Taxis can take a shorter route to the train stations, apparently Ubers aren't allowed to drive certain areas, so might take longer to get to destination.

Villa Bela Vista is a wonderful B&B - one of the very best in which I've ever stayed. Our room, Castelo dos Mouros, was exceptional: an extraordinary view of Sintra National Palace and the city center, spotlessly clean, spacious, with a very comfortable king bed, an immaculate marble bathroom, and even a kitchenette. The breakfast was quite good. The staff was always smiling and helpful. The host was extraordinarily welcoming and gracious. A perfect 10 out of 10 in every category.

This was a delightful stay in Sintra. The villa took five years to restore, and it is splendid; with beautiful marble throughout. The villa sits upon a hill overlooking the historic center of town and the national palace, all within walking distance. The view from our window was wonderful. The bathroom was floor to ceiling marble with a lighted marble sink. The breakfast was delicious, with croissants, fresh fruits, yogurt, eggs, etc. Alexandra has opened a gem and when I return to Sintra will certainly stay here.

Absolutely stunning views, and also beautiful inside…. Pictures are accurate! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the breakfast offered was an outstanding way to start your day. Very convenient and walkable to historic Sintra and all the wonderful restaurants. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Comfortable room and very good breakfast. Fresh bread, eggs, fruit and great coffee. Excellent views of National palace. Wonderful heated floor bathroom. Helpful staff. We really enjoyed our two night stay here. Very good value in an amazing area.

I debated about this boutique style hotel but can only iterate with veracity this is one of the best I have stayed in recently from the optic of harnessing the historic, comfort and drama. Exceptionally well located on an eyerie overlooking the town majestically this is a gem of a find. The minimalist decor punctuated with acres of marble in different hues is immaculately conceived from a reworked decor perspective. The rooms are spacious & the absolute highlight was my floor to ceiling black marble clad bathroom with a balcony. Quality of the fittings & efficiency of appointments (lights/keycard/TV/hospitality station/blinds all worked with harmonious functionality. Note this is not a 24 hour manned hotel but this is not a hurdle given all the positives : location /design /decor/cleanliness & convenience. As a non-branded, private boutique hotel I would rate this one of the best in Sintra.
