Booked this using the Accor website as we stay in Ibis and their associated hotels around the world and are members. We’d just come from a São Paulo Ibis which was brilliant. Not so here. Firstly, the rooms are similar sized but weirdly laid out with the bed against the wall one side. The TV (which we didn’t use) is against the other side wall. Quite how on earth you’re supposed to watch tv from your bed is beyond me. Also, in São Paulo we had Netflix. Not available here I’m afraid. There’s no mattress protector (or on the pillows) on the mattress so the bedsheet sits directly on a mattress which someone else’s sweaty body’s been. Unhygienic I’m afraid, I didn’t look because I wouldn’t have been able to sleep on the bed if I’d seen anything horrible. We didn’t sleep on this but slept on top of the duvet on the bed. The duvet cover had a rip in it on the top. The bedsheets; supposed to be white are grey. We booked for 3 nights just to see what Santos was like and thought we’d book more nights if ness. Asked at reception and receptionist said we could have Friday night for 260reals but she’d go and check whether Saturday and Sunday was available. She came back and showed me a price. It seems that within the matter of 5 minutes the price for Friday night had doubled and the Saturday night had gone to 650Reals. We told her no thanks and found somewhere else on the seafront. The front reception area is unkempt as is the front entrance. I’d like to say the staff are cheery and welcoming but I can’t. After the negative above, the room is clean and is cleaned daily.

The experience at Hotel Sheraton in Santos, SP, left us utterly disappointed. Despite its promising location near the beach, shopping, and restaurants, our stay was marred by a series of frustrating incidents. Booking through the Marriot Bonvoy app, we were misled about the payment process, as we had to pay at the hotel despite having paid through the app. The room reservation added insult to injury; expecting two queen beds, we were provided with a king bed instead. The inconvenience extended to the parking situation, where not only did we have to pay for parking, but also rely on hotel staff to retrieve our car, as guests were not permitted in the parking lot. The check-out process was a debacle, with the lobby's customer service displaying a baffling lack of awareness. Despite my proficiency in Portuguese, the staff struggled to comprehend the situation, adding unnecessary delays. Compounding the issues, not only did the lobby customer service exhibit a clear disregard for communication, but as someone fluent in English, understanding what they were trying to convey proved to be an arduous task. Considering the hefty price tag of the room, the breakfast's simplicity was a letdown. As someone who frequents Santos, I've decided unequivocally that Hotel Sheraton won't be on my list for future stays. The overall experience was far from the standard one would expect from a reputed hotel chain, leaving us with a bitter aftertaste that overshadows any positives the location might offer.

Ich mag das Hotel sehr, aber sie brauchen eine bessere Wartung. Das erste Zimmer war kalt und das Fenster war nicht geöffnet, ich tauschte. Zweites Zimmer, ich glaube, das Bett war gebrochen, aber ich war müde und ich blieb. Ich verbrachte eine Nacht aufgrund der Wolken von Gästen, die bis auf den Flur Ball spielen. Drittes Zimmer, endlich Frieden. Ich komme zurück, aber ich komme gleich mit dem richtigen Zimmer. Das Team ist sehr aufmerksam!

O hotel é bom mas é bem desorganizado, os funcionários fazem o que podem mas precisa de muita manutenção. Os quartos embora sejam todos do mesmo tamanho variam quanto a decoração e itens disponíveis, café da manhã ótimo, piscina pequena e vista incrível. O ponto negativo mais grave para minha família foi a desorganização quanto à gestão das reservas, pagamos o valor das estadias meses antes da hospedagem, por ser no período do reveillon, na chegada a recepção não informou que a reserva não havia sido paga, minha irmã tinha cópia dos comprovantes e nos deixaram subir. No checkout a mesma situação constrangedora aconteceu, a recepcionista não encontrou o pagamento da reserva e disse que o hotel não estava disponível na plataforma que usamos para reservar. Deu tudo certo no final, mas ninguém gosta de passar por esse tipo de constrangimento.

No check-in O atendimento foi apressado sem explicar com atenção o funcionamento do hotel. O quarto era agradável, apesar de pequeno, a roupa de cama estava suja (algum problema de lavanderia eu acredito), o controle da TV estava quebrado. Apesar dos problemas o pessoal atendeu rapidamente as solicitações. O café da manhã precisava ser agendado com antecedência.

Wow i like this clean property. It is located at the beginning of Santos and the ports. Staffs are helpful too. Comfortable bed and pillows. Like the bathroom and showers at the standard studio. If you come to Santos this place you must not missed!
