Hotel Olympia

Service was very friendly, 15/20 min walk into Fira. There’s a little supermarket, bar, restaurants just up the road (2 min walk). The pool was small (did have a very deep end 😊) but still great as it’s a small hotel there wasn’t very many people and I visited in the heart of August. Overall would recommend for a quieter place to stay 😊😊

What an absolutely beautiful find this hotel is! Ideally located on flat surfaces for us, travelling with a baby. Nearby to local shops / bars / restaurants- all which were lovely! The local 24hr bakery is beyond delicious!! The hotel is clean, meets basic needs and has the most wonderful, polite and attentive staff - so lovely I'm bringing my whole family next year! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they will happily arrange well priced taxi fare to visit nearby beaches and attractions.

Perfect hotel just outside of the busy Fira. Stayed here for 6 nights and it was lovely! Everyone who works there is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms and grounds are clean and comfy. It’s a few minutes walk from a little area with restaurants and shops and Fira is 10/15 minute walk if you want to explore. Highly recommend and would come again! Thank you for a lovely week.

The family who owns the hotel is kind and accommodating. They helped us navigate the island, suggested places to see, and arranged for tours and shuttles to give us the best way to experience the island. The rooms and grounds were clean and comfortable, and the balcony offered a quiet place to unwind after our busy days. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few minutes walk to multiple shops and restaurants. Only a 10 minute walk to beautiful, bustling Fira. A great hotel, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Santorini.

Reasonably priced establishment given the location 15 minutes walk from Thira. Lovely quiet pool area. There are a couple of bars and restaurants within 200 yards if you do not wish to walk into Thira. Nice helpful staff. Beware the fridge - there is a timing lock so you cannot re-open it for a few minutes if you forget to remove something.

This hotel is family run. It’s in a beautiful setting, with fantastic views and a swimming pool (plus a small children’s pool). There is always someone on reception to tend to your needs. Also a fully stocked bar - and not expensive. The room we were in was spacious, with a large balcony we could sit out on. The beds were so comfortable- we didn’t want to get up in the mornings!! The shower - powerful and hot water plentiful. Plenty of wardrobe space and draws for clothes too. And, very clean. We didn’t hire a car during our stay. When we wanted to go to the beach or into Oia we just asked at reception and the hotel would have a driver available to take us where ever we wanted to go and gave us a price. The mini buses they have here are top of the range. The position of the hotel couldn’t have been better. We walked into Thira a few times during our stay and it took us 15 mins max. When we return to Santorini we will most definitely stay at this hotel again as it’s comfortable, friendly and clean.

Hotel Olympia it is a great place to stay very clean room comfortable bed and good running water in the bathroom bedsheet and room will be cleaned everyday front desk always available for your any inquiries you might had the hotel very close to Fira about 10 minutes a good walk. Nearby a restaurant, supermarket and dry cleaning available the hotel only provides breakfast very small amount price but you need to tell them the night before if you need breakfast in the morning. The hotel will arrange for you airport transfer however mine comes on one and half our late probably you should arrange it yourself when you land the airport you can find them outside arrival gate to be honest I am happy my stay even so the shower room very small my 6.2 height the best things about this hotel is it was far from the busy Oia & Fira you can get a good sleep whenever you return back the many hikes of Santorini definitely coming back again.

Cet hôtelier a des pratiques frauduleuses et je tenais à en faire part aux voyageurs ayant l'intention de réserver sur leur site. En effet, l'hôtel Olympia vous envoie un récapitulatif avec confirmation et le message suivant "The total price of the reservation will be charged after the booking". Aucune somme n'ayant été débitée sur mon compte, je consulte ma boîte mails et me rends compte qu'il fallait cliquer sur un lien de paiement mais ce fameux lien avait expiré. L'hôtelier n'a jamais répondu à mes différents messages lui signalant le problème. J'ai donc décidé de refaire 1 réservation sur Booking (+ fiable) avec en retour un message non personnalisé avec des propositions de services. Le soir du check-in à Karterados, le gérant a fait mine d'acquiescer, dans un anglais très basique mais n'a nullement pas oublié de nous demander du cash pour le pdj. La chambre était correct mais l'hôtel désert début octobre. Le petit-dejeuner du lendemain était très frugal et les environs de l'établissement pas top. Un mois après notre retour à la maison, j'ai constaté que le montant de la chambre avait été prélevé une seconde fois par Olympia avec taxe de séjour en sus ! J'ai immédiatement recontacté l'hôtelier mais à ce jour, toujours sans réponse. Nous avons vraiment regretté notre choix en faisant 1 halte dans ce village qui n'a aucun intérêt. Alors, pour éviter les mauvaises surprises, évitez une réservation sur leur site web !
