Wir hatten von Anfang bis Ende einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Sehr freundliches Personal trug dazu bei. Angefangen beim Check-In, wo man alles wichtige gezeigt bekommt, über das Frühstück, welches sehr umfangreich ist , bis hin zum Abendessen. Wir hatten Halbpension, je Gang 3 verschiedene Essen zur Auswahl, es war immer von hoher Qualität und auch was fürs Auge. Sollte man da nichts finden, hätte man auch ala Carte essen können. Die Getränkepreise waren absolut im Rahmen. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Da wir viel wandern waren und dementsprechend schmutzige Schuhe hatten , war die Waschecke (Wasserhahn und Bürsten) vor dem Hoteleingang sehr hilfreich. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, aber dafür mit einer sehr schönen Lage und Aussicht.

Had a good nights stay in Hotel O Colmo as part of a group walking trip. Very quirky, with lots of old memorabilia around hotel. Our room was large and had 4 single beds for the 2 of us! Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi to use after a day walking, but both had quite cool water. Well stocked and priced bar (including a delicious banana beer, poncha and Madeira wine). We had a group dinner which was excellent, beautifully presented, and delicious. Good selection at breakfast but there was a very large group so felt crowded and rushed. Great location for the town and easy walk to see the traditional huts.
