Santa Lucia Boutique Hotel

I have been travelling to Gozo for just over 50 years and travel to Malta around 2-3 times a year from Scotland. We needed a place to stay and celebrate a baptism and we tried a favourite escape, Ta Cenc but they did not have enough rooms available. I tried others to see what was available and came across Santa Lucia. To be honest I had not heard of the hotel and I was hesitant because of this. I need not have been. It is on the edge of the small village of Santa Lucia next to Kercem overlooking fields. The interior of the hotel has been professionally designed with great attention to detail and results in a warm welcoming feeling. I saw several of the rooms and again tastefully designed to 5 star standard. There is no such thing as a basic room in this place. The gardens, swimming pool whilst not huge are delightful. The staff managed by Irene gave us first class service. Thank you and we cannot wait to return.

What an amazing place to be! Superb rooms, friendly and wonderful staff, hygiene at its best, a really nice boutique and tasteful dishes! Hopefully I will come back soon. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to unwind…

Just back from a relaxing week at this gem of a hotel tucked away in the edge of a tiny village. Rooms were beautiful, staff went out of their way to help especially A & S who seem to do every job needed! Easy to get the local bus and Uber . Very clean and delicious food.

The hotel is tucked away in a quaint village not to far from Victoria with easy bus and Uber journey available. A very clean and well organised hotel with very helpful staff who go above and beyond to help you. The hotel is quiet and modern with a great little pool and sunbed area for relaxing. There are outside showers at the pool and a spacious hot tub which is very clean. The food and drink at the hotel is of great quality and served most of the day round. Local little shop is available with a 10 minute walk which stocks water and most small commodities you might need. The feel of the hotel is one of luxury and if you are looking for a quiet quality break, with the opportunity to get into a local town for good food and sightseeing then this is the place. We visited 2 excellent restaurants by the name of Brookies and Casa Vostra. Both good quality and very well priced. A lovely stay at this hotel which had really good air conditioning which is needed in the months of summer as the days are very hot with bright sun. Again the staff were very good at this hotel and we felt welcomed in Gozo from the start. A great stay and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Santa Lucija boutique hotel in Gozo is simply the best in everything on the island. Property wise nothing is left out in comfort, technology or services offered. Some 5 star properties on the island are miles behind in cleanliness, affordability and client satisfaction. I have been around most of the best rated hotels on the island and this is the place I will return to. Well done to all the staff on duty, you made us feel at home away from home. We will be back. Everything is disappointing here. Boutique should be special and luxurious but this is just a building in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do nearby. The views are just brown barren rocky fields. The pool is small and underwhelming. The decor is cheap and tasteless. The little town nearby Santa Lucia has nothing in it, there are no shops, bars, restaurants less than 5km away. Malta has a lot more to offer than this.

My wife and I spent a relaxing couple of days at this fairly new boutique hotel in the small, rural hamlet of Santa Lucia in Gozo. We chose it to get away from the hustle and bustle, and noisy environment in which we normally live. And it was great. The room was clean and well-appointed with a large bathroom. The hotel had a bistro lounge which served a varied menu as well as a well-stocked bar. Breakfast was generous. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a decent swimming pool. We had all we needed and didn’t stray from the hotel all the time we were there. We’ll go again whenever we feel the need to get away from the noise of daily life in Malta.
