Mas del Mar

Wonderful overnight stay . I loved my stay. Staff were lovely Greeted warmly by Spanish gentleman who showed me to my room. Room was large with a huge window looking toward the sea. Crisp clean linen on the bed large screen TV and soft snow white fluffy towels in the small bathroom. Location is everything right off the beaten track so I was able to enjoy a couple of hours at the beach which despite it being August had about 6 people on it close to where Mas Del Mars location. I was only in the area for a meeting but wished I could have stayed longer. Its the perfect place to disconnect and relax and just enjoy the stunning views

We booked for a week and could not stay there for a week. We already paid upfront but the great people of Mas del Mar were soo helpful to pay back most of our fees for which we can just provide gratitude. The location is excellent and very close to the sea.

I had read some negative reviews about Mas del Mar, so I felt a bit nervous about our booking there but in the end it was a wonderful stay. We had a suite on the first floor with access to the terrace which was amazing as I could go outside in the morning and watch the sunrise over the sea and then go back inside to sleep a little more! The location really is the best thing - near the beach and near the river. It's a beautiful, quiet location. You can hear the waves washing onto the beach and there are lots of birds around the pond in the garden. The house is rustic and full of charm. In the evenings the fire was lit in the lounge and we enjoyed sitting by the fire and relaxing. Our bedroom was very comfortable, cosy and warm and the bed was comfortable. The shower was clean and had lots of hot water with good water pressure. The walls at Mas del Mar are VERY thin, so you can hear what your neighbours are doing as well as hearing people walking around above you. I think it's worth those inconveniences though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't pay for breakfast - we took our own food which we ate on the terrace. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but the staff will give you hot water if you take your own tea and they have a coffee vending machine downstairs too. I wish we could have stayed for longer.

He pasado el fin de semana en una de las habitaciones en planta baja (Porqueres) que tienen salida. Directa al jardin. La habitación era pequeña. El baño para reformar. ( oxido en la nañera...). Paredes sucias. Puertas viejas. Suelo sucio. Y muchas hormigas dentro de la habitación. Hace falta una reforma y mantenimiento. Y sobretodo limpieza. ( hay polvo en el suelo y telarañas en el techo y detras de la TV. Que no funciona....) Falta personal. De noche no hay nadie y està todo abierto. En fin.... Yo no lo recomendaria. El desayuno es correcto. Sencillito. El lugar es estupendo. Tiene piscina i està en medio de Campos de manzanos. Cerca de la playa. Pero no comple las expectativas. El precio es de hotel de lujo. Y no tienes el servicio ni la calidad mínima esperada.

lo sconsiglio! Non fatevi ingannare dalle foto del sito poichè si tratta di foto vecchie e assolutamente non corrispondenti alla realtà. La struttura sarebbe anche bella ma evidentemente non viene restaurata da troppi anni cade tutto a pezzi. I bagni sono vecchi, le mura hanno l'intonaco scrostato, il pavimento della piscina tutto rotto, .... avevamo prenotato una quadrupla e ci siamo ritrovati una micro stanzetta con armadio che non si apriva e per andare in bagno bisognava praticamente salire sul letto per il poco spazio, la vista era su un parcheggio..... La struttura è sporca e, dal momento che i cani sono i benvenuti (senza criticare nessuno), c'è una gran puzza di pipi, nel giardino ci sono le cacche e in generale questi cani vengono lasciati liberi cosa non sicura e alquanto fastidiosa. Più che una casa rurale di charme sembra di stare in un canile. Abbiamo pagato quasi 300 euro a notte quindi neanche economico. la colazione è "fai da te" sia per apparecchiare che per sparecchiare e il cibo offerto è di scarsa qualità.

Pedimos cuna por dos vías,para que quedará seguro;se nos contestó que "perfecto" y al llegar no había... De madrugada, necesitamos agua y no salía de ningún grifo!! Se nos echó a perder las comidas y bebidas de bebé y niño que llevábamos en nevera portatil!! Mampara ducha completamente rota...no se cerraba completa. No había jabón de manos. El secador pelo había que pedirlo. La casa en general aspecto antiguo e impresión de suciedad,no de lujo o modernidad. Desayuno bien.

Maison de 1659! Toute rénovée, sur 2 étages, avec un jardin immense, un olivier splendide, une piscine, à 6 mn de la mer, et proche d'un étang avec sentier pour une ballade. Ma chambre était très spacieuse, un lit over size très confortable. Une vue imprenable sur les champs et la mer Le seul bémol, notre hôte avait fait un feu de cheminée pour réchauffer la chambre et nous avons été obligés d'aérer +++ la chambre. Mes vêtements sentent 4 jours après le feu. Mais je n'oublie pas la gentillesse des hôtes, leur accueil.

Un mas isolé au milieu des dunes à 2 mn de la plage quasi-déserte à cette époque, idéal pour le calme. Le confort est simple, la chambre que nous avons eue était propre et le lit king size très confortable, avec vue sur mer. Un petit déjeûner complet dans une salle avec une belle vue sur les dunes et de jolies terrasses. Le mas, très atypique, a beaucoup de charme et de potentiel. Il manquait simplement une tablette et des porte-manteaux dans la petite salle d'eau. Disculpa no haber escrito en espanol.. que es muy limitado !

Un lugar ideal. El hotel fantàstico. Habitación preciosa y las vistas excepcionales. Tranquilidad, espacio y muy bien situado. Sales del hotel y empiezas a caminar por los Aiguamolls. El trato excelente. Si podemos, volveremos.
