Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel - All Inclusive

Overall Experience Our stay at Protur Palmeras from August 5th to 19th was our best holiday, thanks to the amazing staff. As a family of 2 adults and 5 daughters, we arrived at 3:30am and were warmly welcomed by a helpful and informative receptionist who showed us around and explained everything. The hotel felt clean, spacious, and relaxed, just like our entire stay. Staff The absolute highlight of this hotel are the staff, ever helpful, friendly and will go so far out of their way to make any experiences for you better. The entertainment team of Julia, Inga and Martyna were amazing, so full of energy and offer just the right number of activities, plenty to make it fun, but not too much it seems hard to keep up. I would always recommend taking part in their ‘Aqua Gym’, one of our highlights as it’s just so much fun and helped me lose weight at an all inclusive for the first time (and trust me I ate a lot). Kids club, where 2 or 3 of our daughters would frequently visit was great. One of our daughters is autistic, we never informed the team of this, and it really didn’t matter, Inga was so accommodating, friendly and patient, that my daughter felt right at home and went to the kids club every day after her first visit. Evening entertainment with the actual team is always great fun with their club dances, in the end even getting us up on stage, and we normally shy away from things like that but again, the staff make it so much fun, and you feel completely comfortable. Antony, the lifeguard on site 5 of the 7 days is not only the best lifeguard we’ve seen, with his attentiveness and awareness, but just one of the best people you could meet also. He’s like having another entertainment team member there, making it safe, but fun for everyone. Really so good with the kids and his values are so great. Bar staff and elsewhere, I wish I could have caught all their names, they ALL made such a positive impact on our holiday. Diana at the pool bar, again for making one of my daughter’s holidays with little touches like advising on her favourite foods and complimenting my girls. Hassan, who to me is a bit of an unsung hero, working hard and was always so considerate of us. Li, Dan ‘the man’, the cleaners who also work so hard. Credit goes to the management too, who also would make conversation and ask how our holiday was, so great to see. Location The hotel has a fabulous location, 2 minutes from the beach of Sa Coma, less than 10 minutes from S’illot and shops and bars all around. Admittedly my personal preference of area is Cala Bona 2 towns away, however, we’d choose this hotel any day and Cala Bona is around 1 hour walk or a short bike/bus/taxi ride away. Strangely, after settling, we didn’t want to leave the hotel as we enjoyed it so much, which is really unlike us. We holiday abroad 4/5 times a year so we have plenty of experience. WeI have just one thing to say about this hotel…. WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE. This was our first visit to Majorca in 16 years and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel and resort. If all the Protur hotels are as well run, we wouldn’t hesitate to return

Just returned from a week’s stay here and will definitely be returning. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are amazing! The kids entertainers/reps Julia and Martyna were great my little girl loved the kids club and kids disco on an evening. They also did various games throughout the day and zumba pool classes. We preferred lunch at the snack bar at the poolside which normally had pizza,fish,chicken nuggets,chips and vegetables. Then followed by fresh desserts put out at 4pm which were delicious. Deniz and his team at the poolside bar and inside bar were great, nothing was too much trouble and were always friendly. The beach is a 5 minute walk and you can hire sun-beds there but they were €35 for 2 but that included 2 drinks at the beach bar. If you have little ones there’s a place you can hire little motorised trucks/quads on the beach front €15 for 30mins. Great hotel with amazing staff.

Just back from this hotel normally I would let you know What is around the hotel Pubs, restaurants, but I didn’t go out much. This was due to the two girls that did the entertainment Martyna and Julia they were so much fun and entertain us all day Long to the management you need to keep these girls they are a big asset to your hotel.. Room We were in room 1330 in block C great view of pool area very spacious bright and clean cleaner kept it spotless thank her for me please.. only downside was lift very small and slow only three people allowed at one time tip!! There are two lifts One that takes you down to the pool area use this one much quicker. Restaurant Bright and very clean waiting staff very friendly and so hard working I found the food to be Really good and lots to choose from. Pool area. Again very clean and well kept Young girl at bar was very friendly and hard-working sorry I can’t remember her name. Antonio, the pool attendant was friendly and always had time for a chat and even joined in with some of the games this was nice to see.. Bar staff evening Very busy but always friendly, kept tables clear and clean at all times. Evening entertainment Martyna and Julia were again excellent keeping the shows moving and making sure the guests were having a brilliant time. Reception Didn’t need to go very often but when we did friendly and helpful. Management You should be very proud of your product your staff are excellent and I look forward to seeing you next year. And lastly to Martyna and Julia thank you for so much fun I’m so glad I met you both friends for life.. see you next year 🩷

Last hour of our 1 week holiday at this fabulous hotel.We are a party of nine here to celebrate my 70 th Birthday.What a brilliant time we have.The hotel is spotless,the rooms are modern and very comfortable .The staff are amazing and went above and beyond to make my birthday the best Would highly recommend this hotel.

Just back from a weeks stay (12-19th. Oct) at Protur Palmeras Playa hotel, following a weeks cruise on Marella voyager. Having read varying TA reports about the hotel, we were delighted to find that all the good reports were correct! We were given a 4th. floor room in block A (1411) and were a little concerned that it was directly over the outside stage area, four floors below. However, other than the 1st night when we went to bed early, having had an early start from the cruise, noise from the stage was not a problem as the shows finished well before 11.00pm. We tended to sit in the lounge area after dinner and could see/hear the entertainment which was, to us, very good. Yes the beds are on the hard side, but we found them very comfortable and had no problems sleeping, though the after dinner drinks may have helped! The food was great, good choice available and microwaves available if you wanted your food hotter. Drinks were fine for us, in fact we preferred the self-serve wine in the main dining room to that available on the cruise ship. Only down side on drinks in the pool area was the use of paper cups, no glass for obvious reasons, but beer in a paper cup, though perfectly OK, just did not taste right in paper! more experienced guests had taken their own plastic glasses, which were filled by the staff, no problem; something to remember if we go back. We did the boat trip to Cala Bona. walked to Cala Millor and caught the little train back, enjoyed the Wednesday night market in Sa Coma and strolled over the bridge to S'Illot many times. Yes, all the staff are great, especially the pool and lounge bar staff who work so hard, thank you all.

Had a Great time at this hotel, our 5th visit. The food is great and you will always find something to eat even for the pickest of eaters. Staff are lovely and friendly and Miguel cannot do enough for you. The Bar staff are great Deniz, Angel, Anthony and the others, nothing too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean, definitely will return next year

First time visit to this resort. Booked after reading lots of reviews that were positive. Arrived about 7pm in the evening, quick check in & went to our rooms (no service to assist with luggage). Allocated room 1226 which was in main block on 2nd floor view of pool & directly opposite the stage. We had booked a family room with separate bedroom but did not get this. We were in a room with 2 single beds & sofa bed. The room was spacious but had a really strong smell of damp which was really unpleasant. Beds were hard especially the sofa bed. Bathroom was modern but the shower flooring was like a sponge and was horrendous to walk on. We had an issue with the air con for 2 nights- vibrating, loud banging & rattling but was fixed quickly once reported. Disappointed in the limited cocktails available & they were already pre mixed & very weak. The staff were friendly & pleasant. The food was average, buffet was good especially the salad & cheeseboard options. The lunch snack bar was very repetitive, cold & not available for long enough. The self serve drinks were good including the hot drinks & ice creams. Disappointed you are not provided with bottled water, even one bottle you could then refill would be welcomed… you shouldn’t have to purchase from a shop in an all inclusive! The pools were freezing but we did brave them 🥶 it’s nice to be able to get a sun bed at any time of the day, although I imagine it would be a nightmare in the summer. Good location & only 2 mins walk to the beach. Entertainment was average & expected at a small resort like this. This hotel attracts an older clientele, most of which appear to be repeat visitors. An average 3 star resort at most. probably won’t return as we like to visit different places.

Great hotel rooms nice and spacious pool area sun beds to close together pool to cold due to not being in the sun all day Not much vegan food to much fish /meat desserts good. Staff pleasant hotel spotless inside and out side .Beach 2 min walk plenty of shops and bars nearby.The night shift man on reception one of the nicest person there . Would definitely come again.
