I am a long time Marriott loyalist and top tier elite, and this hotel is one of the worst I've stayed in; there is literally no desire to provide any service or hospitality of any kind. Some highlights: - there is almost never anybody at the front desk - guests are constantly waiting and looking confused. We thought we might have a drink upon returning to the hotel one night, but there was no bartender to be seen - we left after waiting 10 minutes. - we had to ask multiple times for conditioner as there was just an empty bottle in our room on arrival. One time the woman who answered the phone when I called down said nastily "I don't have anyone to bring it to you, so you'll have to come get it yourself" - the breakfast at the hotel is almost not worth the effort - its embarrassing. And charging guests $20 for it is a crime. - we wondered why our room wasn't cleaned and only found the small note in our room that indicated that housekeeping is only offered every 5th day (!) when we were about to check out. That is a crazy policy but putting that aside, it would have been nice for someone to mention this unconventional restriction upon checkin. - I asked multiple times via the Chat function in the Marriott app for the hours breakfast is served and never received a response. - The safe in our room didn't work. In another family member's room the safe was locked when he arrived. - The pool inexplicably was closed. - The A/C in the fitness center wasn't working and it was clear the fitness center hadn't been cleaned in many days - there was a sticky substance on the sink, no towels, and a dirty plate on top of the water cooler. Aside from the fact that the room is incredibly worn and in need of a face lift, the lack of any desire to provide hospitality of any kind showed loud and clear. This property doesn't meet any expectation I have of Marriott brands and I am disappointed I spent money here instead of staying at any of the other nearby Marriott properties. Just don't do it.
