I would give 0 stars if possible. We tried to stay here 8/8/23 to arrive after a long day at CP. The hotel had overbooked and no rooms. I was shifted to a sister hotel 15mins away "they would be expecting us." I got the info and new rate on a sticky note. We arrived; they had no idea to expect us. That hotel was fine. I decided to give the Baymont another try at the end of Sept, another CP trip. Their phones were turned off so no way to contact them ahead of time. Same thing arrived late after parking lot jam at CP and no double beds. Gave us king and a roll away. NOT the room we reserved directly with hotel. At 11am housekeeper banging on the door threatening us that they have to clean the rooms and leave. It appears the hotel is weekends only in the off season. I had already booked this final October trip to CP with the above one so I thought we'd give them another try... I called** the hotel at 11am and told them we would be coming to save us the double room. She couldn't give me a room yet as they were still cleaning but I explained the issues we had in the past and that we'd be late again, not to give our room away... I called again at 530pm, gentleman confirmed he'd save our room, gave me an actual room# . I reminded him again we're coming and will be late. No problem. I actually got an email confirmation we had checked in after that call as well... 145am we arrive after CP and a TB line. They gave our room away to someone else. And once again all he had was a king and a roll away. Now said manager was supposed to be in at midnight...she was not in. We get up to our room, guy brings in roll away. THE HEAT DOES NOT WORK. We tried the unplug, turn off, turn on and nothing. Husband calls the front desk and guy does not answer. He goes down there, a small trek, and asks for a "roll away heater." The guy looks around does not have one. Gives 2 large bedspreads instead... Pi**ed off and tired we undress and climb into bed in cold room. Outside temp was 42 degrees... However, I realize we had a hair dryer in the room that actually worked, so I turned it on high, and stretched it to the bathroom door and pinned it in the door, closing it. It actually ran all night to keep the chill out of the room. Our sweatshirts were also slightly damp from night before rain, used that to dry them too as cool room was not enough. Next am, sure to be out at 11am, I go down to office looking for Charlene, who I was told was the manager to find out, there is no person named Charlene. Manager, ?Diane? hears my whole story and apologizes our room was given away...she already gave us a discount... I then explain the no heat. She then says, "If I'd known, I would have had the maintenance guy come in the middle of the night. (Um and disrupt our sleep at 230am?). Then she offered another "discount" never mentioning what this was. I said I want a refund with all we'd been though. She said I don't have the authority to do that. I said, well who does? She said she will call
