Our stay could not have been more perfect! Every detail was so thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful decor and cozy linens to the delicious food and wonderful amenities. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Now we can't wait to come back!!

One of the best travel experiences was staying at Las Terrazas B&B. The hosts Rocky and Gwen were wonderful. Rocky gave us good recommendations on where to eat and helped with reservations at one restaurant. The Casita we stayed in, Calibri (hummingbird in Spanish), was comfortable, with many amenities and a great outdoor patio and view. The location is perfect a short walk to the Parroquia and the Jardín the center of much activity in Central. Daily breakfast was good and delivered to your casita the afternoon before so you don’t have to go far or getup real early to enjoy it. We lived our stay and look forward to going back and staying at the B&B.

Casa Mariposa is like having your own luxurious house and private terrace garden in beautiful San Miguel. A short 10 minute walk to the Jardin, great views of the town from the terrace. Delicious breakfasts, full kitchen with fridge, milk etc. Gwen and Rocky are wonderful helpful hosts, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and local driver Rafa. Las Terrazzas is 7 star accommodation for incredibly reasonable prices.

We were delighted not only by the lovely accommodations at Las Terrazas but also by the outstanding hospitality of our hosts, Gwen and Rocky. Every step of the process was flawless: booking, transportation (to and from the hotel), check-in, check-out, etc. We also greatly appreciated dining recommendations provided by our hosts. Having Rocky check in to see how we were doing was very comforting, and we are thankful that our hosts were flexible enough to accommodate our late check-out (we had an evening flight out of Querétaro). In sum, the personalized service is what truly makes Las Terrazas one of a kind. As I mentioned to my travel partners, San Miguel de Allende was one of those few experiences in life that actually "lived up to the hype." And a major reason that our visit exceeded our expectations was our experience at Las Terrazas. The unexpected bonus was the great cardio workout to walk back to the hotel after a day out on the town!

This place is magical. Rocky and Gwen were great hosts. They treat their guests like family. Breakfast appears in your refrigerator every day for the next morning. The food is fresh and very good. The rooms are like little casitas. The beds were very comfortable. Made we want to upgrade my mattress at home. I will be back!!

It was an alluring hotel, we did not even imagine what was inside. We had a great and comfortable experience during our stay, Rocky and Gwen thought about everything. The comfy bed, the bathroom amenities, a delicious breakfast, and all the decorations made you feel like an authentic Mexican Casita. If you visit this hotel you must go up to the terrace, the view is incredible!

Excellent location just a few blocks from the centro but right across the street on the same block is The Spa as well as a convenience store where you can buy drinks and snacks. The accommodations were very homey and quiet. We stayed in the La Vista casita which is a spacious one bedroom, 1 and 1/2 spacious bathrooms and a large rooftop terrace. The materials used to construct this casita are top quality. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. Above us was another very large rooftop terrace where we enjoyed the night time view of the city. The hosts are excellent. Rocky is very informative and helpful, friendly. Gwen provided beautiful and healthy breakfasts each day. I highly recommend Las Terrazas.

Dripping in Charm, with one of the best views from the rooftop Terrace. The owners are both so kind, caring and lovely. I am a professional property manager in a high net worth ski resort in Colorado, and if you read my other reviews, you will see that I tell it like it is. This place is an oasis of comfort, with an element of hospitality that makes one feel like they are "home". The only little downside (which was fully disclosed beforehand), is that noisy school next door. Mexican culture is exuberant, and lots of things are celebrated, often and noisily. No place is going to be 100% silent - that's just not Mexico. If you are planning on sleeping in, bring ear plugs. Better yet, get out early and explore this amazing town! Evenings are nice and quiet. Thank you Rocky and Gwen - we loved out visit!

Beautiful casita with all the amenities we needed. Casa Mariposa is spacious with a wonderful kitchen, living room, and outdoor patio. Everything was immaculate. The decor is top notch. Bed was very comfortable. The rooftop terrace offers a relaxing place to have a happy hour and watch the sunset over a breathtaking view of the city. We were able to order our own breakfasts - loved the yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit platters. Rocky and Gwen went above and beyond to inform of us great places to eat. We would not have found the ones that they recommended on our own. They also arranged for transportation from the airport and recommended the historical tour and hot springs which were enjoyable! We highly recommend Las Terrazas and hope to return! Rocky and Gwen are excellent hosts!
