Hotel Bahia del Sol

I will never go to this resort again. The only thing that was decent was their food. Everything else was horrible. They are so expensive for what they offer. After checking out from there we found some other rentals at 1/3 the price that where in so much better conditions. They have no customer service, my brother and his family was there three 3 days in a very stinky room they went to talk to them right away and he went to talk to them every day to see if they could change him to another room and they would not change him. The water in our shower was out most of the time. The bed’s quality was extremely poor. I don’t want to waste my time writing about all there horrible amenities. I tried to cancel my reservation and they don’t allow for any cancellations , no exceptions. My guess is that this resort will go out of business, if they don’t get there stuff together. It is just a matter of time, word gets around..They probably pay people for good reviews, I really dought that a normal person would give them 4 or 5 starts. The locations is also a mosquito breeding site, filled with swamps next buildings. I traveled in July and I have never seen so many mosquitos outside and inside the rooms. If you already reserved, all I can say is good luck to you, since you can’t cancel, that is the first sign of a horrible resort, and if you have not booked, do your work and read the reviews from real people, or you will be sorry that you did not do your homework. That is what I happened to my and my family. We paid the price for not reading the reviews, now we are just moving on and will never go to these resort again.

Avoid this place, bed sheets were dirty and stained, old toothpaste in the sink mirror, moldy smell, smelly pillows, trash everywhere, in the hotel and the beach. Mediocre food. We paid for 2 nights and couldn’t stay the second night; dirty and overpriced.

I brought my friends to this facility hopping to spend a relaxed day. It was a costly mistake. Took about one hour just to checking due to lack of staff. The drinks are watered and kool-aid quality. They ran out of local beers available only foreign. Very few áreas with shade by the swimming pools. Only 3 umbrellas by the pool on the Ocean side. No umbrellas by the pool on the Estero side. No hammocks available. You could rent one but they will hang it under the sun. The beach is full of trash. No trash cans available around the pool areas. You have to go to the bar each time you want a drink. I was advised to bring back the original glass so I could get the refill. The food is only okay. The snacks nothing to brag about. I did not encountered one single employee with a smile on their face. Don't waste your money here. There are several other nice places along the Costa del Sol. Don't let "all included" advertisement influence your decisión. You can do better somewhere else.

Door was not secure with a gap, windows were loose and nonfunctional, patio furniture for furniture, really plain. Even a blind man could see it ******. Beach was not attractive and they didn't have any entertainment.

Just terrible, the room dirty, hugly, old, broken bed, no towels, no pillow cases, recepción faraway, no phone, the food was terrible, and service bad. It's all inclusive, but you can only get certain dishes and drinks.

The place is very nice, unfortunately the service, drinks and the food is terrible, every time you ask for a drink they ask for your name and room number and they question my son about go on line for twice for breakfast! It was his first time and why matter if they advertise ALL YOU CAN EAT! I will never comeback to this place Tan feliz que llegue, con la idea de disfrutar mi país, playas y mi gente, pero que decepción! Con tantas ganas de apoyar el turismo de mi Tierra! El lugar es hermoso, pero la atención es PÉSIMA, especialmente de las personas que sirven la comida. Acusaron a mi hijo de formarse dos veces en la línea del desayuno! Era su primera vez y además, Que importa si ellos dicen que es “todo lo que se pueda comer” La comida es FALTAL, yo ni a mi perro me daría esa comida, yo salí a las “Champitas” a comer, no es el dinero, mejor deberían de cobrar en vez de servir una comida tan HORRIBLE , los platos sucios les tuve que regresar platos que estaban en la línea del buffet que aún contenían restos de comida. Obviamente, no los lavaron bien y la aptitud y gestos de las muchachitas que servían la comida era INCREÍBLE, molestas por no servirme en un plato sucio!!!! Y las bebidas están elaboradas con el alcohol más corriente y barato que existe y cada vez que pides una bebida te piden nombre y número de habitación y llenan un ticket, una molestia total! Éramos 3 personas pagamos $80 dólares por persona por noche y no vale lo que cobran. Hay lugares mejores y más económicos. La playa es espectacular de nivel mundial, pero el servicio no está a la altura. Yo viajó mucho y a diferentes países y está ha sido mi peor experiencia. No regreso ni de gratis

The location is amazing, close to the beach, the room was clean and spacious. The food was different each day, lots to chose from. Great entertainment, lots of fun for all ages, really enjoyed dancing and instrument playing, highly recommend. Special shout out to Toni the waiter and Iago (entertainment) for making our stay even more enjoyable 😊

The location is great, has access to the lagoon, marina and mangles on the east side, to the west has another pool, bar, eating, restrooms & launch area (this launch area should be cleaner & inviting), one can either kayak or ride a boat or be on the beach, the food needs improvement all across the board including the soft drinks and cocktails. when crowded, the staff is not enough to handle the demand. the tap water smells like sewer, not enough supplies in the bathroom I.E. soap, shampoo, etc. there wasn't a TV in the bedroom only in the living room.

The house was nice the pools nice we had a private jacuzzi ,now food not good HORRIBLE,if you wan5 to be happy in this place ,bring your toilet paper hand towels and you own food they don’t know how to cook eggs without adding so much salt that you can’t eat my dinner I give it to the dogs because I could not eat I wish the new manager,Jose Luis Santander fixed this, so my family and I can return
