Hotels in Haight-Ashbury, San Francisco

Die Stadt ist ideal gelegen, die Nachbarschaft ist groß mit einigen der besten Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe, es ist nahe dem öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und auch bequem zu Fuß. Das Hotel war sehr sauber, einschließlich aller gemeinsamen Bereiche und Badezimmer, was sehr wichtig war! Das Zimmer war groß und komfortabel, es gab eine Tauchplatte, die sehr bequem war, und mehr Platz als ich brauchte. Die Selbstkontrolle im Prozess war sehr einfach und schnell mit einer App, ich hatte alle Informationen, die ich brauchte, um mein Zimmer leicht zu finden. Sicherlich ist eine große erschwingliche Option!

Was very pleased with my stay at the Grove Inn. Communication was great; check-in was easy (I arrived while the front desk was staffed, but they seem well-prepared for those who check in after hours). My room was clean, with a nice modern bathroom and good bath products. The bed and pillows were very comfy. I appreciated the fan and the noise machine, as well as the mini-fridge, Keurig, and electric kettle (with coffee and tea provided). No evidence of a breakfast or snack basket, but I did have a couple of chocolates and small cookies awaiting my arrival. The neighborhood seems clean, safe, and relatively quiet - and the building is secure, so I never felt uncomfortable about that. A couple of things were less than ideal. The walls are pretty thin! I must not have had neighbors my first night, because I didn't notice it until the second night when I heard snoring from the room next to mine. (And then I realized why they provide earplugs in addition to the noise machine, ha!) My second night there was definitely noisier - not from the street, but from other rooms. One other thing I didn't love was that my room had no deadbolt, only the doorknob lock. The building felt secure; my room not so much. Finally (and I think this is common in a lot of older buildings), the room had minimal electrical outlets (at least ones that were easy to access). All in all, I quite enjoyed my stay at the Grove Inn and will definitely consider it again for my next visit to SF.

I tried four different rooms. The windows didn't lock in three of them (I didn't look at the windows in the fourth so don't know). The windows wouldn't even CLOSE in one room. It's not a good area. When I pointed out the problem, the employee said it would be hard for intruders to get in (it wouldn't) and he wasn't sure if the hotel could cater to someone with such high standards! Three of the rooms were absolutely filthy. I have never seen anything like it at a hotel, and I nearly always stay at cheaper hotels because I don't like to waste money. There were stains all over the bed covers in one room and the carpets in three of the rooms were just vile. You wouldn't want to put anything on the floor. In one room there was a particularly strong smell (stale urine, cigarette smoke, maybe a solvent, and God knows what else). It was strong enough that my throat and nose started burning after only a couple of minutes and I started having asthma symptoms. But all of the rooms and the public areas were musty. I thought I should leave a review because there are people like me who like to stay at decent affordable hotels. This is not one of those hotels.

Dirty carpets, no lift had to walk up 6 flights of stairs to room, very bad smell throughout hotel. No duvet cover on duvet, wrapped a double sheet around duvet and tucked so much under mattress to try and cover it. Place needs MAJOR clean and paint. Stayed 3 night only given clean towels and toilet paper when asked for it.. despite putting please clean room on door.

Der Parkplatz ist klein, die Parkplätze sind klein, und viele von ihnen leben in Schwarzen. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr arm. Die Zimmer sind grundsätzlich nicht schallisoliert. Mitten in der Nacht schrie eine Gruppe Schwarzer in der kleinen Straße hinter dem Hotel laut und erschreckte die Leute.
