It is beautiful! The bed is soft and clean. Employees are always smiling and made me comfortable. I would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to San Diego if you'd like to experience the finer life. I recommend the bar downstairs where you can enjoy the tastiest, strongest drink available!

This is our 3rd visit to this beautiful hotel. I was helped by front reception Salvador who was so helpful for me as a single mom travelling for the first time with my young daughters. They even have a kids treasure box!!! The staff in the kitchen work so hard and make every effort to service our hungry families for morning breakfast. I stayed here with my daughters in March 2024 and convinced my sister to choose this hotel as a return in for 4th of July. My family was impressed with the sizeable rooms, were super happy with the convenience of a full kitchen, and breakfast provided daily. The pool is heated with pool toys, fire pit, BBQ pit and games in patio. The location is superb! 2 blocks to Little Italy where it smells like garlic. Between upscale restaurant/lounges, Italian restaurants and much more. Also, the metro is a block from hotel which is a quick ride into old town or gas lamp. Across PCH is Maritime Museum and Liberty Park. My kids really enjoy the pedi cabs at night too. Mission Beach is just 7 miles away. It's nice to enjoy a family vacay in SD without spending so much on hotel/food thanks to everything this place has to offer. We will definitely return here as it is our home away from home during our staycation in SD. Please stay here with your fam, you won't regret it!

Late Post Oct 23' Check in was a breeze, our room was clean and when we requested for extra pillows, towels etc, they were more than happy to accommodate and was quick to deliver. They are off the beaten path about 20-30 mins from Downtown so I don’t know why they charge for daily parking. I do recall reading something that stated “in and out privileges” Not sure what that means when there isn’t a guard to let you in and out. (missing star). Pros The breakfast was really great! They have tons of options including rice which was very odd but I love rice so I can’t complain. They have everything you need as far as kitchenware utensils, plates, scrub mama, paper towels. They also offer shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The gym was smaller than I expected but the machines worked and they only have dumbbells. Cons The A/C and furnace was located in the room and goodness did it wake me when it came on. We did have an accessible room but the person who we traveled with didn’t have a wheel chair, the bathroom has a shower with no step just open so I was worried that one may slip if someone had to use the restroom after someone showered (check the pics) shampoo, conditioner and body wash ******! Also, the placement of the pullout couch was very odd, we needed to either keep the door open or it would hit the bottom or wont open if we closed the door.

Stayed here for work for the month of December. They are dog friendly that’s why I chose them, but they are not dog conscious. Let me explain: when we arrived after traveling for two and a half days, we checked into our room that cost approximately $295 per night. As usual I checked the room out to make sure it was safe for my little 5lb fur-baby. Alas, I readily find that the room has not been vacuumed as I picked up a Benadryl pill and a yellow piece of candy that I can only assume had chocolate in it based on its size. Chocolate is poison to dogs and anything is poison to a 5lb dog. I let it go. We scheduled to have housekeeping come in to clean when we weren’t at work and had our dog with us and out of the room. I left a good tip and had everything ready for them, e.g. towels in one pile on the tile floor, items up and off the ground, etc, but again they did not vacuum. We scheduled housekeeping again and I left an even larger tip with a note that asked for additional washcloths, and a new/cleaned extra blanket b/c the one that was in the closet hadn’t been cleaned prior to our occupancy. How do I know this? B/c when we went to use it a Gatorade cap fell out of it! So with the $20 tip, we didn’t get additional washcloths, he/she simply folded-up the previously soiled blanket, and we still haven’t had it vacuumed and we have a pet that we are paying extra for. Dogs shed—vacuuming is required! The front desk staff are super nice and the outside area where you can take your pets to use the bathroom is nice, but the rooms are not clean. Aside from the issues listed above, the handles on the cabinets were sticky and the windows are dirty from the inside (probably from the bathroom shower). I’ve purchased cleaner to clean handles and countertops. I wish the suites came with a vacuum that the guests could use. So I like staying here, but if you have a dog please do a protective sweep for things left by prior guests.
