Es war Silvester, also gab ich den Kindern rote Umschläge. Da die Buchung auf zwei Termine für zwei Nächte aufgeteilt war, musste ich am zweiten Tag vor der Abreise das Zimmer wechseln. Als ich am Abend zurückkam und den roten Umschlag auf dem Tisch liegen sah, wurde mir sofort klar, dass ich ihn aufgrund meiner Eile am Morgen im vorherigen Zimmer liegen gelassen hatte. Die Führung eines B&B erkennt man, gerade in Europa, an der Qualität seiner Mitarbeiter. Sehr gut!

Waren mit unserer 8-jährigen Tochter eine Nacht dort. Wir haben eher kurzfristig über einen großen Buchungs-Anbieter gebucht. Der Preis war sehr gut und einiges unter dem Preis bei Direktbuchung. Somit war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für uns sehr gut und zum normalen Preis wäre es passend. Die Lage ist gut, 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof und vor dem Haus ist eine Bushaltestelle. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und trotz der Lage an der Straße, ruhig. Das Bad war sauber und schön. Es gibt einen Wasserkocher und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Der Empfang war sehr nett und freundlich. Es wirkt familiär. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, jedoch gab es aufgrund der Unterkunftsgröße nicht sehr viel Auswahl. Dafür gab es einiges, was sonst nicht unbedingt üblich ist (z.B. fertige Toasts in Dreiecksform). Auch hier war das Personal freundlich und es wurde alles immer gut nachgefüllt. Einzig der Lüfter war etwas laut, wenn man in der Nähe sitzt. Alles in allem, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen und man kann nichts falsch machen!

The Villa Flöckner is perfectly located to get from the airport. Line 2 stops directly outside. We discovered also it is one stop from the main railway station too. We were greeted beautifully by ‘mein host’. His tips on the Salzburg card proved to be perfect. The room was on the top floor with a lovely view of the mountains in the distance as well as being spacious and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the shower perfect, warm, easy to operate and powerful. The breakfast was included and it was very good in choice and quality. There were warm pancakes and wraps, quality cold cuts and cheese as well as fruit salad and muesli for those who prefer it. We stayed for four nights and access to the tram proved excellent. We went to the Unterberg, into the Altstadt, Hohen Fortress, out to the zoo. All within the price of the Salzburg card.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Flöckner Bed n Breakfast. The rooms were spacious and modern decor including a smart tv with Netflix access. The rooms are very quiet and we had a lovely view of the distant mountains from our room. Bathroom including a bath and towel warmer. Breakfast was delicious with a good amount to choose from for a BnB. The host was lovely and friendly. The main train station is within a 5 to 10 minute walk and if coming from Salzburg airport the number 2 will stop in front of the property. There is a lift on the property but be mindful it does stop half way between floors so there are some steps to climb with luggage. I highly recommend a visit to Villa Flöckner BnB, stay and enjoy your visit to Salzburg.

This is an excellent hotel about 500 metres from the railway station and within walking distance of the old town. Alternatively there are bus stops nearby, which would take you the station or the city. The rooms were modern with all the facilities you need for a city break. The rooms were also extremely clean.

We only stayed one night in this hotel but it was perfect for our needs. It's walking distance from the train station and a lovely walk along the river into the old town. We are a couple with a 13 year old son and although the room was small, it fit everything in and was absolutely spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and I recommend this hotel for a short stay in Salzburg.

Salzburg was a special part of our European Trip, and Villa Flockner was everything we had hoped. Martin and all his team were welcoming and friendly, and offered us plenty of help with any local information, along with a friendly chat. This family owned and run villa is so clean and new looking. The rooms are extremely comfortable with all the modern amenities you could need. It's very close to the centre of town, only 15 mins walk to Mirabellpatz, but so quiet, making for a good nights sleep. City buses stop right outside the Villa making it even easier to access the city. They also have off road parking if you are driving while in Austria. We were lucky enough to have their family room which had beds for us and our two children, with a sliding door so we could be separate from them after they had been put to bed. Breakfast each morning was wonderful! A selection of European cheeses, meats and fresh bread, pastries, various types of eggs, crepes, cereals, fresh fruit, juices and coffees. Nothing more was needed, but if you did need something else, it was never a problem. We would definitely stay here again and can't wait to come back to Salzburg. The only very small negative for us was the fridge in the room wasn't great or very cold. However as soon as we raised this with the owner, he did look into it straight away for us. Super service!

A really great stay at Villa Flockner - arriving after a sleeper train disaster where our booked sleeper car never materialised the host was so kind and accommodating - messaging us as soon as the room was ready so we could have an early check in and recuperate. Absolutely saved our day in Salzburg so we could recharge and explore this beautiful city. Lovely accommodation, clean, contemporary and extremely comfortable with a great breakfast. My friend is coeliac and she was really well catered for. Thank you for a lovely stay and your very kind hospitality.
