"I stayed with my girlfriend in June. It was a total disappointment. The hotel is old and it looks run down. The room we got was assigned incorrectly and they gave us single beds instead of double beds. We asked for a change but they said they didn't have any. Also, the window was broken and couldn't be closed. The water in the shower took several minutes to heat up and had little pressure. The air conditioning didn't cool, which was annoying since we had days with 29 degrees. The breakfast is small and with very little variety. We had breakfast at 7am and there was usually a lack of replenishment of products and it took a long time to clean the few tables there. The hotel is supposed to have a garage but it was always occupied, without even being able to park at the door to bring down the suitcases comfortably. Instead, they send you to a parking lot that is 2 blocks away, which does not open on Sundays or holidays, so you have to look for a key at the hotel, open it and then return the key. The hallways to the rooms have lights that only work on a schedule, between 7pm and 6am, outside of this time the only light available is from the emergency exit sign; something I have never seen in another hotel. The attention of the people at the front desk was awful, from the first day we asked to change beds or rooms and they told us it was not possible, that they did not know if there was another room. They could not tell us if it was possible to request late check out either, we had to ask shift by shift and they always told us that we should ask another receptionist at another time. No employee was able to give us an answer. It is a cheap hotel, which does not comply with what it advertises."

"Wir waren vor über 12 Jahren im La Candela und haben dieses Mal ohne zu zögern für einen längeren Aufenthalt wieder gebucht. Es liegt nur 4 oder 5 Blocks von der Plaza 9 de Julio entfernt, dem Hauptplatz dieser charmanten Stadt. Dies ist ein kleines Hotel mit nicht vielen Zimmern und dieses Mal haben wir auf eine Junior Suite umgestiegen (die den kleinen Aufpreis durchaus wert ist). Unser Zimmer war geräumig, mit Blick auf Pueyrredón, mit einem Kingsize-Doppelbett, einem Waschbecken im Zimmer (praktisch) und Dusche/Toilette/Bidet in einem separaten Raum. Warmes Wasser in Hülle und Fülle (obwohl das Wasser dazu neigte, auf den Badezimmerboden zu tropfen!). Angemessener Stauraum für Kleidung. Der Safe war ein altmodisches Fach mit Schlüssel und obwohl geräumig, nicht groß genug für einen Laptop. Kühlschrank auch im Zimmer. Als Briten schätzten wir den Wasserkocher sowie Tassen und Teebeutel (obwohl es ein bisschen seltsam war, warum die Tassen keine Henkel hatten). Da es ein so kleines Hotel ist, sollten Sie nicht das üppige Frühstücksbuffet erwarten, das Sie in den größeren Hotels bekommen. Die Auswahl ist hier etwas eingeschränkt, was aber ok ist, man kann aber Eier nach Wunsch zubereiten lassen. Seltsamerweise waren die Frühstückstische nur mit dem Nötigsten an Besteck und Geschirr gedeckt, und es gab offensichtlich keine Ersatzbesteckteile, falls man beispielsweise einen zusätzlichen Löffel oder Teller benötigte. Das Personal an der Rezeption war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sollten wir noch einmal nach Salta zurückkehren, würden wir nirgendwo anders suchen – wir würden im La Candela übernachten."

"Ich hatte vor kurzem die Freude, im Colonial Hotel zu bleiben, und es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung von Anfang bis Ende. Das Personal war willkommen und aufmerksam, so dass ich mich zu Hause fühlte. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und schön dekoriert, mit erstaunlichen Blicken auf den Hauptplatz . Ich genieße auch das komplimentäre Frühstück, das eine breite Palette von leckeren Optionen in gut dekorierten Zimmern bietet. Die Lage des Hotels war perfekt, nur auf einem Hauptplatz. Insgesamt empfehle ich Oceanview Hotel für jeden, der eine entspannende Getaway sucht. Ich kann nicht warten, um zurückzukehren!"

"Sehr guter Aufenthalt in der Nähe des zentralen Platzes und schöne Umgebung. Mit Parkplatz, aber war sehr scharf für unsere 4x4. Es ging gerade. Das Haus verfügt über ein großes Bad und Kücheneinrichtungen, nur wir verpassten die Kometen für unser Frühstück."

Gran Hotel Presidente

"Old hotel with poor maintenance. Very very friendly staff. Dirty carpets in the hallways. Dark room facing a skylight full of pigeons making noise. The bathroom is a horror, from the 80s, with a screen that would shake if you touched it. Instead of a bathtub, there was a shower with a tiled floor, which was dangerous. You have to bathe in flip-flops. The towels have holes, are frayed and worn. The pool is in a place with the entire ceiling stained with moisture and the walls are peeling. They do not do maintenance. Good location. There are many better hotels."

Nur, wenn der Wind die Wand und der Keller durch den Wind auf den oberen Etagen ausschalten, dann passiert uns das, was wir waren, und die Rezeptionisten, die damals waren, angeboten uns, von der Wohnung zu wechseln, so dass die Aufmerksamkeit auf die super freundlich und immer auf unsere Bedürfnisse des Personals zu richten "

"We stayed one night, left to go on a 2 day tour then returned for two nights. Our first bedroom faced the street and was a bit noisy. The second bedroom faced the back of the hotel and was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location for walking into town and Salta is a lovely place to explore. There is an unheated pool on the top floor. It probably warms up in summer. We were there in November and it was quite cold- okay once you were in. Staff service was excellent. The only reason for four stars and not five was that the breakfast was more limited than in other similar hotels. You can order eggs and they are delicious freshly cooked. However the fruit salad was mainly apples. Perhaps it is difficult to get melon and pineapple at this time of year but our other hotels all had them. Apart from the breakfast I loved the hotel and would stay here again when I visit Salta."
