Als ich in einer 'Security'-Einlage geprüft wurde, wurde meine Kreditkarte ohne meine Kenntnis oder meine Zustimmung genommen. Ich habe nur herausgefunden, weil meine Bank immer eine SMS-Nachricht schickt, wenn meine Karte verwendet wird. Es ist sehr lange her, seit ich in einem Hotel geblieben bin, das eine Einzahlung erfordert. Ich habe letzte Woche geprüft und die Einzahlung ist jetzt zurückgekehrt. Wir blieben im Block hinter dem Hauptgebäude. Es war ein Motel-Stil-Zimmer mit Autoparkplatz draußen. Das Zimmer war sauber und alles funktionierte. Die Betten waren komfortabel und es gab nicht viel Lärm vom Straßenweg. Das Frühstück war grundlegend, mit wenig Wahl. Es fühlte sich, als wäre alles getan worden, um die Kosten zu halten. Hilltop Inn ist ein günstiges Hotel. Sie erhalten, was Sie zahlen. Ich werde wahrscheinlich nächstes Mal ein wenig tiefer in Salmon Arm und über die Straße auf dem Fairfield bleiben.

Neben der Trans-Canada Highway so dass unsere Fahrt von Banff nach Vancouver zu erhalten war sehr bequem. Salmon Arm ist etwa halbwegs nach Vancouver oder Banff und das macht das Motel eine perfekte Übernachtsstop. Das Schlafzimmer ist von einer Wand vom Essenstisch, Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine getrennt. Das Badezimmer ist sehr sauber und Sie können vor Ihrem eigenen Zimmer parken. Das Einchecken und Auschecken dauerte überhaupt keine Zeit. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich.

Ich war hier auf halbem Weg von und nach Banff. Es war sauber und es gab nicht viele Frühstücksvarianten. Sie können Ihre eigenen Waffeln machen. Das Hotel liegt relativ nahe an den Bahngleisen, und man hört das Geräusch des vorbeifahrenden Zuges, aber es hat keinen Einfluss auf den Schlaf.
