Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa

We picked the hotel because of the location as we were visiting my father who lives in st Helier we had a lovely warm welcome by Luke . Our first room on the ground floor was was a little dark so I asked to change to a a higher floor sea view and for room 221 which was lovely great views out to Elizabeth castle . Breakfast was plentiful and stab and the team in the restaurant were very obliging .we had a car with and although parking is minimal we managed to get a spot each time . I will definitely recommend this hotel to my clients who are looking for a relaxing break with many amenities Ont while doorstep

Called for a drink and to meet with family before going to the Portuguese festival nearby. I had a coffee and a cold drink. Lovely presentation and particularly liked the nibbles! Waiter was professional but also really friendly and engaging. My guest had a wine which was quite expensive but was enjoyed. It's a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by, comfy seating, clean and there are throws if it turns cooler. I would have given 5 stars but I do get irked when a 12.5 service charge is added to the bill. I would much rather tip as I see fit not as the company directs, especially as I don't know where /how the service charge is passed onto the staff

Stayed for 3 nights, we had 2 rooms as my wife and I traveled with a friend. The hotel is in an excellent central location, walked into St Hellier. Underground car park is small but we managed to park the hire car for 3 nights, staff were helpful in trying to find a spot. Rooms were clean, excellent shower, coffee machine in the room, water and biscuits restocked every day. Breakfast was excellent, large choice, although the cappuccino has some room for improvement, but very attentive service by the staff. The inside bar was excellent, cocktails reasonably priced. We did not have time to use the Spa, but my wife had a look and said it looked great. Maybe next time, we loved Jersey and will likely return next year

Arrived in our room and within 5 minutes we thought we were in an Ibiza nightclub with the music vibrating through the room .We tried to get a seat on the terrace and quickly decided against it due to the drunk party people dancing and being as loud as the music ,3pm on a Sunday afternoon. We were offered a lower room but still in front of the music. We left the hotel and enjoyed a peaceful afternoon in an other hotel .We paid over £300 a night to have to leave the hotel to relax, we also had to cancel our terrace dinner reservation and find a restaurant in another hotel due to it being an unsuitable environment for our daughter. What a disappointment we came to this spa hotel to relax and enjoy our meals on the terrace by the sea .I certainly never expected to arrive to a Sunday session of GBX in a spa hotel, I certainly wouldn't have booked if I had been aware of this ,I'm not against entertainment and music but this is not appropriate for a family hotel or a spa Hotel.

Staff cheerful and friendly especially Paul who was amazing!!!! On reception could not of been more helpful and friendly. Clean tidy hotel, good size room. Amazing breakfast! Great location right on the beach front. The car park was small but we always found a space.

Fantastic staff, so helpful and accommodating especially after flight cancellations meant our stay was prolonged. They did everything to secure us rooms for the unexpected additional nights stay. Dragos was fantastic as were the other staff. Breakfasts great and the outside terrace a bonus in the warm May sunshine. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Excellent Hotel the service is second to none they went above and beyond just fabulous a place Amazing views Great location and amazing staff here. Everything is so nice even when you’re walking along the carpet it’s soft and well kept. I would definitely recommend this and can’t wait to come back here. It’s just a top quality Hotel.

Just returned from our second stay at The Grand Jersey Hotel. We are really impressed with the standard of care shown by all the staff and how they are welcoming and friendly as well of course, as being helpful and professional. The range of food in the breakfast restaurant was superb and plentiful with the staff going out of their way in making sure you had everything you needed. The welcome and help from the Reception staff was lovely and they made sure our stay was relaxing and comfortable and were a font of information about the hotel, the local area, bus service and the Island in general. The spa (namely the pool, hot-tub, sauna and steam room) was a lovely place to visit and wind down after a busy day visiting the many interesting parts of the Island. We had a Spa Day last time we visited in November and it was a wonderful experience to celebrate our 'big birthdays'. We ate a few times in the Champagne Lounge where again the staff were so attentive to their guests, making sure both food and drinks were served promptly and in style! Catherine really looked after us whenever we went in. Our only slightly negative comment would be that the menu did not seem as plentiful as last time in November - but that could be because our 'go to' dishes were not available this time. We aren't the most adventurous foodies!! The room was amazing, lovely views of Elizabeth Castle and the bay. We loved the separate lounge area in our room too. The housekeeping staff kept everything well stocked and the 'turn down' service in the evening was a little luxury to add style to our visit. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending a stay in this hotel which is beautifully positioned and easy to reach the centre of town and bus station. I hope we will be back in the not too distant future.

Visited the Grand Jersey Hotel for dinner. The food and wine were exceptional and the service was amazing. Credit for the service goes to Lewis who is incredibly professional, friendly and a true asset to the hotel. Elisa was out waitress and provided fantastic service as well. Thank you both.
