After a long day of travel, we were kindly welcomed at the Rockford Courtyard. The hotel and room were very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is well situated for easy access to many amenities—meals, shopping, gas, etc. and has on-site amenities as well. We would definitely stay here again.

I am a Marriott time share holder and this place was so out dated and worn. Mold in the shower trims and we couldn’t even shower before we continued on our 10+. Hr road trip. No toiletries. The taps were from the 70’s. We have stayed at several Marriott’s and this one by far the worst.

Stayed in many Courtyards and this one is tired and needs some CPR. PROS: Right off I39/90 and lots of dining in area Rates are reasonable Cafe is nice with the usual selection and good staffing CONS: Room is tired. Furniture torn and stained. No cups in room (plastic or glass). This is expected even in a Motel 6. No simple expected amenities like a pen and scrap paper Front desk check in staff seemed on high dose medication--flat and disinterested affect Welcome gift for Platinum elite was a single bottle of water and potato chips--room for two, perhaps two bottles. Microwave dirty and start button broken Absence of sidewalks on permeriter of property means you need to lug bags thru lot--likely more of a problem in winter Not usually picky--see my many previous reviews, but there are other choices on this block off the interstate and I can't envision returning to this articular property.

Misleading picts. Go across the street to The Hilton. Picture showed a hot tub, which I needed for sprained ankle and body aches due to the use of crutches. The front desk clerks both said for US to call corporate bc passing on their customers' complaints had no results. Because my reservation was non-refundable, we had to stay there. Breakfast was not included but was available for $14-17 each at the little Cafe in the lobby. Again, go to The Hilton across the street for a better deal.

This is the Courtyard from 1990. It doesn't look like anything has been updated since it was built. Everything is used and abused. The thermostat in all rooms have a minimum temperature setting of 68°. That might be okay if the actual temperature came even close to that. When it's 90° and humid, it would be nice to have your room temperature somewhere in the 70's. No Kleenex, no toiletries, no nothing. And just one elevator in the back of the hotel. We're Bonvoy Platinum so we usually get a free continental breakfast but not here. A "welcome gift" of a bottle of water and a plastic wrapped square of cake. Overall, a disappointing experience. Come on Marriott, you can do better.

We travel to Rockford several times a year for youth bowling tournaments and we've never really found a place that meets all our needs. This Marriot location has decent reviews but I'm not sure if those customers had different rooms/accommodations or why there is such a difference in experiences. Check in was a breeze and the front desk was fantastic. That's really where our good experience ended. The room was sufficiently clean but the furniture was threadbare. The couch has multiple rips with the stuffing coming out and the chairs are so soiled they are actually slimy to the touch. The biggest irritation for me was the lack of bedding and pillows for the fold out sofa bed (we had to call downstairs) and 1 TV remote for 2 TVs which doesn't work when a teen wants to watch TV in the living room area and the adults want to watch in the bedroom. The balcony was a nice touch but the unrelenting noise from rowdy guests in the courtyard well after midnight was too much.

First of all, I want to just say that we had the most amazing customer service here. EVERYONE working was kind, accommodating and so willing to help. They let groups we were with switch rooms with no questions asked, they let us use a conference room for a team dinner, and they even found an item I left in my room and agreed to have it shipped to my home! The rooms were not the best as some did have a slight odor and some rooms did not have hot water. I would only stay here again because of the great people working!

I’ve stayed at this Courtyard in Rockford for business more than once. Each time has been pleasant. Service is friendly and efficient, rooms are clean, and the Starbucks coffee cafe is convenient if not a bit pricey. The workout room has all the equipment you need for exercise while traveling. Elliptical, treadmill and recumbent cycle plus kettlebells, a bench, towels, cleaning wipes and mats. The bed was comfy, there were plenty of power outlets for charging devices, lots of clean towels in various sizes, and the shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel were in dispensers in the shower. Convenient. I gravitate towards Courtyard by Marriott when traveling for business because I know what to expect. It’s everything I need and well located for wherever I need to be. This one was no different. I recommend this Courtyard.

Unfortunately a family member was in the hospital so we got rooms online for this hotel. I really liked it. The check out process was easy. The rooms had microwaves and a mini fridge. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were heavenly AND the shades fully closed so it kept it dark. The room wasn’t anything spectacular but it didn’t need to me. It was exactly what we were looking for. The lobby was clean and i didn’t get to eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. The pool was nice size too. Great outdoor seating and relaxing area. Every employee I spoke to was very kind and knowledgeable. I would def stay at this hotel again.
