Anchorage Inn Rochester

Disgusting. We checked in but did not stay. Sheets were stained. Bathroom sink did not have a handle to turn it on. Bathtub was stained. Shower curtain and shower wall were stained with purple substance. Curtains were stained and ripped. Fridge had rusted shelves. Furniture was stained. I did not want to sit or touch anything. We did not feel safe in the room or with the people loitering outside the room. Staff could not be found when we left. I can’t understand how this place can stay in business.

Went there because i lost power in maine. When I got there they lost power. I'm sorry no generator. You own a motel with over 30 rooms, you may want to have a generator( hello this is New England). Then the room has no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. I would recommend sleeping in your car or even a cardboard box. Also the driveway wasn't plowed and walkways weren't shoveled. This was after the storm had settled down. Don't go there

This has to be the most disgusting place ever.......didnt spend the night because first room mattress have blood and stains all over accompanied by a bunch of dead and live bugs...they acted so surprised when we went to office to complain like they had no clue asked us to show them. So off to the room we go she goes they arent alive ok so dead or alive im not sleeping with them. So she offers a newer modern room ol lets go all we want to do is sleep after a very long exhausting day. So off to next room when we ever pulled back sheet to first bed it was in 3 or 4 zipped covers well which were more disgusting then first room. I told the office I wanted to cancel reservation and my money back as we never stood there, at first dhe saud ok no problem then comes back out of office and says sorry ull have to go threw booking .com for your refund.........so on phone with them and they do a 3way call and she says we offered a second room they declined.....well all said and done myself and my 2 sisters slept in a car in the local hospital parking lot. What a way to make the bucks just keep rerenting the same rooms over and over all night as many people dont stay. Wish I had time to look at the reviews before we booked, hopefully this helps someone not lose thier money and has a safe place to sleep

Worst roach motel you would ever have the displeasure of seeing. Upon arrival they have all the contents of the rooms on the sidewalk tarped up. “For renovations”. Hills have eyes characters vagabonds and women of the night roam the lot and surrounding area. Stayed bout an hour witnessed 3 alive German cockroaches and a few dead ones. Trash barrels were full in the room. Stuff left in freezer. Mattress was stained burnt and nasty from 2003. Ac smells like black mold. You could not pay me to step foot in this place again. Not to mention the $140 a night price tag. I’m not sure how this place is even still in buisness.

Not once did they clean the room the many nights i was there we had to ask for towels consistently, never got replenished w coffee and snacks or cups… no ice..used my own cleaning spray paper towels etc…. And they have the nerve to want to charge me 60 a night extra for my very well behaved dogs who just want to be w me protect me while I’m going through this ordeal, and to top it off they say my dogs can’t be in the car outside either…. Well that’s where they live w me…. Greedy rude people who should be checked out by code…. Place is not worth the money spent .. so sad. … they like the trouble in that place cause they are part of it. There is no lobby . Peppermint is a necessity … bugs.

We didn’t even get out of the car. It didn’t look safe and management was very difficult to get in touch with. Every call they were either just waking up or out of it. It didn’t help with the all over bad feel of this place.

The motel was nasty. The sink looked like a beginner installed. The microwave dish didn't turn and the t v was not connected. For the price a total rip off. Do I need to go on. They said recently remodeled. Really!

We asked for towels and the male owner walked into our room (2 females, 1 pregnant). When I nicely asked him to please knock he said that my friend told him to just come in….. my friend who helped me make a plan go barricade the door with an arm chair because we were two females alone….(she said no such thing). He left and I closed the door behind him, I gave it a good push once it was closed because I did not hear the latch click… a few seconds later he banged on the door like he was trying to break it down and screamed “don’t slam the door” and then he left. I did not sleep that night and we left bright and early the next morning.
