Motel 6 Ogden, UT - Riverdale

Really great to get away and enjoy a weekend with your girl

Been going here for years with my lady Cassie who I've been and she's been having a affair with.love this place to bad it closed. If Cassie is reading this $ our sign I'll miss motel 6. Very respectful. And hard workers thank you for always leaveing the light on.

This is the 4th time here while visiting family in the area. It fits our needs. Good location, clean, comfortable beds. Its not a luxury motel but for the money, the motel itself is great. They take impeccable care of the grounds, very impressive and dog friendly. The pool was nice for hot days and I noticed maintenace cleaning pool area each morning. However the noise from room above us was horrible. Pounding, running, sounded like furniture being moved. The pounding went on throughout the night until usually around 3 a.m. making it difficult to sleep with a headache! Truly, it was that bad. Morning manager told me to call at night while it was happening. When I called, I was told that it couldn't be helped as there was no soundproofing between floors. Don't believe anyone looked in to it. The same people were there throughout our stay and nothing changed from night to night. 6 nights of that. The key card that was kept in pocket away from phone, had to be renewed almost every single day. 6 days. The woman next door sat outside harassing people all day long. 5 days of trying to avoid that. Bottom line, if only they invested in client comfort as much as they do in their yard, it would be a 5* for me.

I've stayed in a lot of Motel 6's over the years. This was the best stay of any of them. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the a/c worked great. I didn't think I'd be able to sleep with the freeway noise but I was out like a light. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were great. Shower was good. Towels were good. Can't say anything bad about the place. The reason I choose Motels rather than hotels is because I'm disabled and it's hard for me to walk around the halls and lug stuff around. I asked the front desk girl if she had something downstairs with close parking. She put me in the perfect room. She was so very nice. I really enjoyed chatting with her. Motel 6 is lucky to have her. I wish I would have caught her name so I could tell the manager what a gem she is.

Have stayed here for last couple of years. It has majorly deteriorated. The room's door guard lock was gone - looks as it may have been ripped out. There was no smoke detector in the room - hard wired but not hooked up. There was ONE washcloth for 2 people for 4 days. There was NO tissue anywhere in the rooms. There were groups of people hanging in parking lot and doorways. Felt unsafe. The door cardkey demagnetized 3 times in 4 days. We are seasoned and extensive traverlers - yes - we know how to keep them "safe" from such a thing happening. Had to walk to office in the dark, in the cold to have redone, no car - as we were dropped off by family we were there to visit. Just a bad, unsafe, insecure experience! Too bad, as the location is good.

For the price, this room was fantastic. Clean, lots of room. Pet friendly. The staff was marvelous, no issues what so ever. Newly remodeled. Couldn’t even hear the traffic or the planes. Will DEFINITELY stay again and again. Thank you Motel 6
