Nice breakfast, clean rooms, great location, but no parking available near hotel, so need to carry everything by hand

From the moment we arrived we loved Riva and the Hotel. Staff were so friendly and would do anything for you. Our room was lovely with a huge bathroom with walk in shower. The hotel was in the centre of town with nice shops,cafes and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to the ferry. Thank you Marco and Maria and all your lovely staff for a fab time We would definitely recommend and hopefully will return next year

Excellent hotel. Location is perfect for shops bars and restaurants. A short walk to the lake and ferry port. Customer service from staff is friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return to stay in this hotel.

Nice hotel in the centre of the old town, 2 minute walk from the harbour. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. We wete given packed breakfasts when having to leave the hotel early. The breakfast selection is probably the best I have encountered. Well done.

Excellent location! A hidden gem set on a cobbled street in the old town. The hotel is well presented and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is immaculate. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large en-suite. A 10/10 from us and no complaints!

There is almost nothing to fault about our stay. The hotel is located right in the centre which is ideal for exploring the town. Close to many bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Breakfast is a buffet style with plenty of choice. The staff are super friendly and are always happy to help. The hotel has a roof terrace which is really nice on a sunny day. One thing to be mindful of is that you cannot access the hotel by car so transfer dropped us at the ferry port which is only a couple of minutes walk. This was no problem for us but something to consider if you had mobility issues. The one thing which would be an improvement would be to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. But otherwise house keeping was immaculate and we have no complaints.

I highly recommend the Antico Borgo having stayed here for 1 week Aug/Sep 2024 ..The staff are absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond for me .I booked this hotel fir it's location and because it has a lift ( I am disabled ) however the first room wasn't in the central part of the hotel and there were some stairs to climb which was not suitable for me with a walking aid ..this was my fault I didn't think to check with the tour operator or the hotel But the amazing staff and manageress moved me to a more suitable room .I was blown away by the understanding and kindness shown to us .Even at breakfast the mangeress could see I was having difficulty getting to my table and she offered to help me to my table which I gladly accepted. All the staff are warm and friendly always asking if needed any help.the hotel is lovely, with modern decor .the rooms are really clean with comfortable beds pillows air-conditioning safe and small fridge.there is also a beautiful solarium on the roof where you can sunbathe with an amazing view or lounge on the shaded area..it is in a perfect location for shops and restaurants. I absolutely loved my stay here....if you are ever in riva del garda check out this fantastic hotel...thanks again to all the amazing staff

Antico Borgo was located centrally in Riva old town.The hotel is clean and bright inside. We had a balcony which overlooked local houses which was great as we could watch all the coming and going of the local,people,which was entertaining. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and very knowledgeable regarding the local sights and the best towns to visit on the brilliant car free cycleways. The staff always smiled when we came in after a day away. Nothing was too much bother for them. Marco the manager enjoyed a bit of football banter during The Euros which were taking place while we were visiting. I can highly recommend this Hotel for couples wanting a peaceful holiday which catered for the adventurous such as cyclists and hikers. Local restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced. A great location for a lovely holiday.
